Holiday Inn Express & Suites Onalaska La Crosse Area, an IHG Hotel

Staff was great and very welcoming. Room was fresh and spacious with pull out couch. Breakfast was a hit for sure! The two down falls that we had where the doors close very loudly and the pool chemicals burned our eyes. The first night a teenage girl soccer team was staying there and we could hear doors getting closed throughout the whole night. We couldn't hear them talking, but you could hear them coming and going from their rooms with each door getting opened and closed. Whenever I left the room while my family was still sleeping, I made sure to hold the door until it latched, so that it didn't slam shut. The pool chemicals where so strong that I couldn't sit in there for long periods of time or my eyes would burn, so I ended up standing between the door ways, so I could still see my kiddos swim. I woke up the next morning and my eyes where crusty, so I ended up going and buying some allergy medicine to stop the itching and burning. Every family staying that weekend had the same issue. You could look around the pool area and see every person rubbing their eyes from the burning aroma in the air.

Close to family in a nursing home that we needed to see

Excellent property to stay at with family. Our family room was huge and very nice! Whole property is clean.

We had a wonderful stay. The staff was really helpful and so nice. The beds were comfortable. I have a bad back and cannot sleep on a firm mattress. I had a very comfortable night sleep. The pool area is small, but they utilize the space well and they even have a kids splash pad with slide. We slept in so missed breakfast, but there were plates, silverware, and coffee out all the time. When we ordered food and they forget to send plates we could access them in the breakfast area. Adding it to my favorite hotels. We will be staying her again.

I really like that you can sit in the hot tub and still be able to watch kids in the pool and the slide area at the same time. Breakfast had many options. Friendly Staff. We will defiantly come again. I didn't like that the room had no bathtub, the shower door wouldn't stay closed, and the sink was up too high for kids.

This hotel quickly became a family favorite. Service has always been great, rooms spacious and clean. Pool area perfect for kids of all ages (and adults!)

Very clean but noisy because they gave us an adjoining room so could hear screaming kids at 11pm.

I booked a room to sleep 6 because I was traveling with 5 kids. I was given a room for 4.
