Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, La Crosse, WI

This property has a hot breakfast and is clean and comfortable. The shower was great and the hotel is located right next to a nice family restaurant. It is also very close to Viterbo University. The only issue I had was that my back was injured and the beds were a little too high. I had to climb up into the bed. I am 5'4".

The quick and easy check in was nice. The woman at the front desk was friendly and knowledgeable. The room was clean and fresh for a very reasonable price. The view wasn’t good but we didn’t rent the room for the view - just wanted a clean, decent place to stay before getting on a plane the next morning. Also, we were hungry and went to the family restaurant across the parking lot after checking in. We were blown away by the fantastic “old fashioned” style service, portions, and prices! Definitely check it out!!

Nice motel but crazy loud. Lots of children running around with not very much parent supervision

I wasn't so concerned about the inside of the hotel, everything was excellent, clean and the staff was exceptionally nice. But the outside is deceiving. When we pulled up we were greeted by 2 homeless people and a prostitute who was eyeballing us with a smile. The outside of the hotel looks dingy and rundown, not too presentable. But once we entered we were greeted at the desk with a very bright, professional employee. Once settled and checked in we decided to try the family restaurant next door. The staff was exceptional along with the food; very nice and accommodating to have next door. (But that is a seperate review) We went back to the hotel to finish getting ready to leave for our concert. As we were ready to leave, we saw the same prostitute bent over with her pants down far enough to see most of her thong underwear. WOW! What a way to ruin ones appetite. Even so we still we still enjoyed our stay. Oh and a big note, the beds were very comfortable!!

Overall a very nice weekend family vacation hotel. Pool was too cold for me, but the hot tub was nice. Breakfast was decent. Ice Machine on 2nd floor didn't work. Clean. Nice staff.

Were there for a full week because of a memorial service and settling family affairs. People were very friendly and accommodating until the last day when we asked for a later check-out because of our late flight. We were told that there was a $15 charge per hour for late check-out even though the place was practically empty and there was nothing posted about the charge or about the "club" we had to belong to to avoid it. Felt very unfriendly and we decided to just leave.

The room rate was increased from booking time, they don’t accept legal us currency only charge cards, hotel was way over booked. Never got to use pool or hot tube due to the amount of kids there. Barley got breakfast because of over booking.

No cribs or pack n play for babies, slow check in, room was pretty clean and comfortable.
