Wingate by Wyndham Green Bay/Airport

Nice weekend getaway from kids . Great weather not a long drive from where we live lots of things during this weekend. Free breakfast was ok the eggs need some work . Coffee all day long but not that great a taste but ok. Room was on third floor nice view. About the only problem was the bathroom toilet which moved but we spoke with front desk person about it just to let them know .

Loved the location. We were flying in late at night with a toddler, so chose this hotel precisely for that reason. We could have walked from the Green Bay Airport. It is that close. Nighttime staff (gentleman from Colorado) was so nice. Awesome hospitality. The reason for the OK review is that our bathroom was less than ideal. The mini bottles of soap looked used and there was only 1/4 left in each. No bar soap to wash hands. The toilet had skid marks and it was gross. I went downstairs to purchase water bottles and mentioned this to the gentleman, who promptly gave me a bag with several toiletry soaps/conditioner, bar soaps, extra towels and a few mini water bottles. He improved our stay. So kind.

Booked this as we had a wedding that weekend. Called to check in 30 min.early and were told by reservations he could not connect to the front desk so no, no early check in. Made a special trip to check in after the wedding ceremony at 430pm (check in is 3pm) and were told our room was not ready yet. Was told by the stressed out front desk lady that they were very short staffed in all areas, so come back later. (What?) I inquired if they could email or text me as I was at an event and the lady looked at me like I had asked for her to birth a child for me...and told me that was out of the question. Then asked if I would be checking in before midnight, I said I did not know I would be at a wedding. She was gracious to put a note in for the night staff. We were able to check in fine after the wedding. Everything else went well. But we will not be staying there again.

This hotel is very nice and convenient to most of the Green Bay area amenities (Lambeau, Airport, Casino). The place is comfortable - King rooms are nice and big, clean and staff is friendly. They have a nice self serve breakfast bar with a good variety of breakfast options hot and cold. We requested two rooms close together for our family and they were happy to accommodate. We travel to the Green Bay area several times a year and will definitely add this hotel to our favorites list.

This was the the stay the last night of a family trip. Needed to catch an early flight, all was perfect.
