Boarders Inn & Suites by Cobblestone Hotels - Superior Duluth

It was ok. Some of the staff was unfriendly and others were very friendly. When we got to our room the soap dispenser was out and our TV remote didn’t work. When we had a car issue one gentleman that worked there kindly came out with a battery charger pack to see if that would help. It smelled strongly of smoke (both kinds!) and a barking woke us up a few times. The pool was nice, kids enjoyed that.

The hotel is not bad. We did find food left in our fridge from a previous guest. One of the sinks in our room was extreamly slow to drain from a clog. The bathroom door should be reversed to open out rather than in as having a child and attempting to bath them in the tub was hard to move in the room when exiting.

Could use some updating,breakfast options weren't anything to speak of. Were very accommodating as we had a family emergency and had to check out a day early and it turned out the emergency was not a good outcome!!

Stayed 3 days with family and we enjoyed the big room and the cleanliness.

Very nice and family oriented

The evening staff were helpful and respectful. The day crew were rude, yelling at kids. Not much for breakfast options. Lady took stuff out of the breakfast counter and took her 15mins to refill the tray with muffins and biscuits for the biscuits and gravy. Did not stay on top of the coffee. The pool never had enough towels. We had dirty towels left in our room and when we went to ask for more towels they didnt have any. Stated they were in the dryer.

We booked thru expedia and got trapped in a free for all of little kids screaming and running around at 6:30am both nights we stayed there

The property is dated. I reserved a 2 queen room and ended up with one king instead. That only worked out because the other party in my trip had to leave early. There was a large group including a lot of kids.They were loud, slamming doors, running down the halls, yelling from one room to the next. I spoke with the front desk twice and have up because the adults were also yelling. The walls are super thin. The bed was uncomfortable. And to ice the crap cake they didnt say what time breakfast was done, typical hotels on a Saturday would be 10-10:30. It was done at 9. Normally wouldnt be an issue but since i didnt sleep until 3 a.m. I opted to sleep in until 9. They also turn your key card off by 10 even though checkout is not until 11 a.m. so I got locked out when I went to move my car closer to pack up. The employees are nice enough. It was clean. But if you want to sleep, this is not the place to go.

I really like this hotel. Its the first time ive stayed here and have had no issues. Its not on the main drag, which is nice. The staff are amazing and super helpful! The breakfast selection is great and fresh. My family and I will definitely be coming back!

Breakfast was good and the pool and hot tub are very nice and open late, which was a lot of fun. The parking was easy and it has a convenient location to the interstate. Unfortunately that means we heard some of the traffic sounds, and our window view was a trailer park. The door to our room had a huge gap to the hallway where it almost felt like someone would be able to see through it. The towels were tiny and not very soft, and the sheets had pilling and kept coming off the edges of the mattress that made them feel rough and seem old/overused. Staff was very friendly. We were in town visiting family for only a few days, so for the price we will probably stay again in the future.
