South Pier Inn

South Pier Inn was a fantastic stay! Loved the family feel and was a great time. Will be back soon.

I asbolutely enjoyed the stay with my husband and my 16mo old baby. Very nice staff. We were luck to meet owner at the lobby after breakfast. He told us more stories about this property and the waves at Canal Park from a photo book. I love how these stories were put together and ready to be shared with guests. I feel bad that if we didn’t have the unexpected encounter in the morning, we would have missed these stories. We never thought of opening those photo books in the lobby or really paying much attention to what was presented to us silently. Now I realized that so many things were so carefully put together and well thought out. I loved our stay, service offered and the wonderful cranberry wild rice toast served as breakfast. :) we will come back. Thank you!

Very nice place to stay. Good for families, very quiet and comfortable. My daughter and I enjoyed the waterfront view, and people working in the hotel are super friendly.

Everything about the hotel was great from the service, staff, location, view, breakfast etc. I stayed in the junior suit and it was beautiful! I loved the room soundproofing. The fact that I couldn't hear any other guests was amazing, it was so relaxing and felt like a true relaxing vacation. The only thing that would have made it better was a bit of softness to the bed as it was very firm but thats just a personal preference. I will be staying there in the future as it definitely had a luxurious feel without the pricetag.

Definitely pricey for the room and amenities but the location is good right near canal park. One other thing to note is the consistent noise from barges during the day. Not an issue at night other than one boat running it’s horn before 6am, but if you have kids who need naps or otherwise need a quiet room during the day, there are a lot of noises from the river to be aware of.

Inn is family owned and they have done a wonderful job with the little necessities such as sheets that feel like butter, having an umbrella, shoe horn, wine tool for your use, nightlight in the bathroom, and a light up makeup mirror! Property was very clean! Staff were friendly and helpful! Breakfast was incredible! They bring in baked goods from a nearby bakery, delicious coffee (local too). They also offer a good variety of breakfast items. Will definitely recommend to others! And it’s right next to the Aerial Bridge and steps from restaurants and stores.
