I normally don’t complain but there were so many things wrong it was almost comical. If you get assigned to room 412–ask for another room: Room 412 - Saggy mattress (one of the mattresses sagged so bad in the middle you could see it before you even laid on it) - Not right fitted sheet (the other mattress didn’t even have the right size fitted sheet which left more than half the mattress exposed) - No shampoo (in refillable container) - No body wash (in refillable container) - Freezer never defrosted (2 inches of Ice surrounded the entire freezer section - Broken and missing decor on shelf (one of the missing vases only had the bottom there, still glued and def a safety hazard with jagged edges) - Toilet flapper needs repair kept running and at times didn’t flush without a manual release - Crushed pretzels on carpet and broken plastic fork pieces - perhaps wasn’t vacuumed before our stay Yes, I could have asked for a different room but I was adjoining with my family and didn’t want to. And don’t stay because of pool—literally the smallest hotel pool ever seen!

Well kept, updated hotel with a reasonable rate. It was a quick overnight stay while visiting family in the area. The hotel was very nice. Our room had a separate living room area. The bathroom was super clean and had large, plush towels. The best part was that the room was reasonably priced for a great room.

Our room was very comfortable especially the bed, and the towels were wonderful very soft and absorbent however our shower was not the cleanliest and also the couch in the living area was quite dirty, but other than that everything was great the service was awesome someone from the front desk brought up towels and they were very quick about it. There was basketball tournaments going on in the area and the hotel was full of kids from that and surprisingly the hotel was very quiet and didn't have kids running around through the halls like a lot of hotels we've stayed at we will be back again.

I really enjoyed our stay, room was huge and bathrooms where nice! My only issue is the pool. I booked this room specifically for the pool not closing till midnight, but I was sitting in the hot tub and it was so dirty, there was a lot of hair floating, like some guy just shaved in it, I am hoping it was just from a guest recently that day. But I immediately had to pull my kids from the pool and take them to a bath. Other than that it was an excellent stay. I will be going back with hopes that someone's uncle didn't shave his back in the hot tub 😂

Gave 4 star rating due to the friendliness of the staff. I expected more for the price I was paying. $249 for 1 night stay, labeled the room as "Business-type" w/2 queen beds/sofabed Family of 5. My sister's family of 6 booked a 2night stay for $230 total, she was a rewards member. Her room labeled "Normal" and when I saw it, looked exactly same as mine, layout was completely the same. Wish they had more varieties for breakfast options. The make-your-own waffle option wasn't something I was looking forward to after a long night. There were no meat options like your typical sausage links or breakfast patties. No room service. If ordering food from the restaurant nextdoor, you can call to make your order but have to go down and grab the food yourself. My sister ordered food and said it was delicious. My brother and his wife also stayed here & confirms the food was very good. I regret not taking the chance to try it. Rooms were clean and we slept like a baby. Very quiet area and located near highway. It says "resort-style" pool, but the maximum capacity fits 14 people. Hot tub was nice. I did get a $53 differential refund bc Expedia listed my same room for cheaper cpl months after I booked. Had no idea whether to leave card keys in room or checkout at front desk which we did in the end. Overall, I think The Cambria can do better and I don't intend on making it my first choice the next time I visit Appleton, roomtypes are misleading so double check and don't get ripped off.
