We either got burned in the shower or we froze. The water didn’t drain in the tub. There was almost no water pressure. My kids and I had to wash our hair as soon as we got home because we couldn’t get the shampoo and conditioner out in the shower. All the restaurants were closed so quick food wasn’t an option. I was traveling with kids so this was less than convenient. The snack machine was broken by the arcade and wouldn’t take payment so we were taken to the staff one to get something. Appreciated but if i am paying the extra money to stay at a resort shouldn’t be the case. The pool was nice. The kids loved it. It was too rainy for the zoo or most outside activities which was unfortunate.

Nice resort with a fun great hall area with live music, several restaurants on site. I didn't see a workout room. Appears it was replaced by a kids game room area.

Beautiful property, especially for the Christmas season. Grounds are well taken care of. Stayed on the older side this time. Have a toddler who was able to open the latch on the door to the hallway even with the deadbolt “on”, which was concerning. No other issues.

You can feel the history of this place. Very warm and friendly service. Had some noisy kids next door but you can't control that.

For the price of the room it should be spotless. Dust on lamps. Rust in showers. Room not ready at 330, check in was at 4. Clerk said she would text when the room was ready. She never did. We had to go back up and ask. We watched the cleaning crew clean some rooms, young high school kids on their phones instead of cleaning. Very disappointing. We recently stayed at hocking hills lodge, so much better.

The property was unique. Enjoyed the trolley to see all the locations. Driver could talk about the resort for a history background. Bed did not fit on bed frame - causing a severe tripping hazzard or potential for getting a foot stuck and ankle injury (took Pictures) room W322 - reported. I understand mother nature and power outages (Work for the power company) Saturday during the loss of power we were ok with the generator and emergency lighting. But when the generator stopped at 10pm and it was total darkness in are building, we called about moving to the upper building - plenty of open rooms - and the front desk said they could not do that. Again a safety hazard. Liked the activities for kids and if your a golfer. Thought of brining my grandson but not sure I will or recommend to any friends.

Olgebay is one of my favorite places on earth. I grew up going there with my grandparents. The beauty surrounding this hotel is stunning, the views, the flowers, the garden landscapes all throughout the park and resort are amazing. Excellent walking paths, lots to do for children and adults. Inside our room a little dated but everything was clean and working. Only complaint I had was I ordered a mini fridge for our room for medications that myself and my husband require. It wasn’t there when we arrived. I did have to call 2x to receive it. We went and had brunch before we left and it was certainly noteworthy and delicious!
