Microtel Inn & Suites By Wyndham Fairmont

1. We had originally booked for one night & then needed two nights & asked to stay an additional night & was assured that it wasn't going to be a problem. While out with family, we received an email with our receipt indicating we had checked out. It took 4 calls & 10 minutes before we got through to hotel staff to figure out what was going on. I was told we had checked out & though all our items were still in the room, they were boxed up & placed in storage. The hotel had our contact information & didn't call to clarify. 2. Issues with toilet having a slow drain and we had to clear out a clogged toilet. We had to wait for room 124 to bring the plunger as they were having the same issue. 3. Something was crawling & scratching in the wall by the bed. We went & got a staff member, who came in & also heard the scratching sound. Everyone agreed that there was some type of animal or pest in the wall. 4. The morning breakfast was delicious, but we were woken up early (before 6am) both mornings, because of the setup noise. The beds were up against the wall that had the counter of food. Not to mention the constant clink, clanging of the food containers as the were opened & closed by other guests

When I first got there another family was complaining that there was a used wad of chewing tobacco on the night stand and it was dirty. When I went into my room the room smelled moldy and it was very stuffy and stayed that way until we left. The fridge was warm and it still had a bottle creamer, cheese sticks and butter from past guests. There was trash all over the floor. The bed skirt had what I believe to be sperm on it. The counters hadn’t been wiped off and were filthy. The workers were really nice but I truly think they’re just doing the best they can. I’m just not sure this is for them.
