Best Western Plus Port of Camas - Washougal Convention Center

Took our two adult sons to Camas for a few days to have some quality family time together. Everybody enjoyed themselves and had good times together.

Nice property, but about what you'd expect at this price point. I thought it was a bit over-priced for this area/location. It was the best option for a nearby family reunion, but seemed a bit isolated from amenities. However, it is on the edge of the Washougal waterfront park trail and Columbia river connector trail. That was good for morning runs and walks, and dog friendly.

I was in town to visit with my family, particularly my sister whom I haven't seen in more than 10 years. The hotel provided a near-by overnight respite which made our plans come together quite well. The hotel is clean, quiet, and well staffed, a pleasure to be in.

The good, the bad, and the ugly. Stayed one night at this hotel for a business trip. The good. Check-in was smooth, front desk woman was very kind and knew her job. The room was clean for a two star hotel. Amenities were simple, bed and sheets were clean, towels were very rough and starchy. I guess if you’re looking for a little extra exfoliation, that’s good. The bad. The pool was not fit for swimming. That was quite a letdown. High concentrated smell of chlorine meaning that the pool is attacking a lot of bacteria, leaving a lot of odor. Water was cloudy and did not look clean. The ugly. Left the hotel after breakfast at about 8:15 AM. Driving out of the parking lot, my eyes were attacked by a shocking display of a woman providing a sex act to a man in full display hanging out of a vehicle. Shockingly this was happening just across from the front door. Before anyone says you can’t do anything about things being done in public… This is not public. Parking lots are private property. Beware that this could be an indication for crime or trafficking Being that this was so out in the open and the management was doing nothing about it. I would not recommend this location for families with kids or women traveling alone.

Didn't actually get to stay in the hotel since we had a family emergency the week prior and they would not let me cancel. Actually, I could have canceled with no refund but I'm sure they would have rented to room again! I was able to check in on our arrival date because we were close in the area that day

Hotel was very clean and beautiful. Room was big and clean. Perfect for our family. The bathroom was kind of small, but we made it work.
