Courtyard by Marriott Portland East

Arrived in room. Bathroom had ants everywhere. I killed the ants but a few stragglers stuck around. I was in town to visit a sick friend so was too exhausted to complain. The next morning I was counting on breakfast. I booked the hotel based on amenities. I was told the employee didn't show up so that was out. I also booked the property because they had a lounge/bar. After a long day I returned to find out the employee running the bar had a "family issue" so they couldn't serve me. Other than that I was hoping the fireplace in courtyard would be running. But no. At checkout I mentioned and showed pictures of the ants. No response. I thought maybe I would get some sort of compensation? I will say the employees were very friendly. That's it.

This was our first visit, in town for a family birthday. We absolutely loved this place! Room was great, and the shower was hot! Great offerings in the lobby with drinks and food! Loved the little booths with individual tvs!

Woke up to beer cans and cigarettes and cigarette pack on our car. During our time in the pool with my kids, there was a guy being super creepy outside the windows in the parking lot. Smoking, drugs. Fully unpacked in my room and picked up my blanket to lay down for the night and there were ants on my sheets. Front desk gave me a second room. Woke up the next morning with all over my apple juice can. And we were on level 3! Went downstairs for coffee and breakfast and they said only thing available was drip coffee and no breakfast Overall, I liked the new hotel. Those were just some things that don’t allow me to give more than 3 stars.

Lady at front desk in evening was rude not even 5min and call me to said their was complains of hitting desk my kiddos were laying in bed with me why blame us just because see saw me with kids?? Plus missing sheets and soap in bathroom, bathroom had hairs floor was dirty not a good experience but I guess I learn not to go there

Hotel is brand new, very clean, very pretty. Lots of room for family and friends to visit in the lobby or the court yard. Rooms are big, clean and fresh.
