Great Wolf Lodge Grand Mound

The check-in was longer than usual and had a line out the door, but was due to school being closed state-wide that wasn't planned for with staffing. The wavepool kind of made us nauseas due to people being careless and their little ones pooping in the pool. Even though there are signs and swim diapers, is the parents fault not the kid.

Lots for kids to do

My family spent 2 nights at GWL, and overall we had a fun time. I cannot believe that for $400 per night, they do not provide housekeeping services unless requested, which was not mentioned to me at check-in. So on day 2, we come back from the water park ready for showers and a nap and we find our beds to be unmade and the pile of towels we left on the floor still there. This is a pathetic corporate move to squeeze more profit while providing less service to the guests. The arcade was so overpriced, and it just stunk like dirty socks/feet/sweat. The water park was fun and the kids entertainment in the lobby was awesome. I was very disappointed in the MagiQuest game.. there was one screen that wasn't working, and my kids and I kept running up all the floors trying to find this 1 item (otherwise we couldn't advance). We spent the better have of night 2 on this and the morning of day 3. Another guest advised we go to the MagiQuest store and the lady there said that this part wasn't working and she had to manually advance us. Why wasn't there a sign about this?Why doesn't IT work weekends? Many guests are only there for the weekend so it's not like we can all wait until Monday for IT to fix the game. My kids definitely want to come back, but to me it is just very overpriced and feels a bit cheap to me in terms of cleanliness and quality considering how expensive a weekend at GWL is.

Really loved the themed room. Was ultra busy during the spring break, but otherwise awesome for the kids.

This was our first time here and our kids loved it. The arcade was perfect after the water area closed. Housekeeping staff was amazing. Front desk checkin lady was rude and so was one of the young ladies working at Fatburger in the water area. Other than there crappy energy everything was great.

family friendly, a lot of activities on site, but wish there was more dining options and room services.

The idea of it sounded pretty good for the kid's but was dissapointed in the lack of information i got when i checked in. Parking was hard to find. The food was mediocre for the price which was quite a bit higher than your average meal ($26.99 for breakfast buffet for adults and $13.99 for kid's). My modelo was $10!! For as much as a room was i think more should've been included than just the water park, which my kids did enjoy.

Great place for families to have fun. More food option would be nice.
