This was our first time here and our kids loved it. The arcade was perfect after the water area closed. Housekeeping staff was amazing. Front desk checkin lady was rude and so was one of the young ladies working at Fatburger in the water area. Other than there crappy energy everything was great.

Fun for the whole family. The lunch and dinner food could be better but the breakfast buffet was pretty good.

Honestly this was absolutely miserable. Over crowded, over priced. You would think for $600 per night you wouldn't have to pay for parking or they would at least include waters in the room. They charge $15 for parking and waters are $4 each at the store which really adds up for a family trying to stay hydrated while at the pool. The smell of chlorine was overbearing with people coughing and itching from the chlorine. Which may have been a good thing since I found out after we got home from someone who used to be a lifeguard there, they're told to jump in the water to pee rather than take the time from their station to use the restroom. Also if you want a towel you have to scan it out with your armband then return it or be charged $15. You cannot remove the towels from the pool area so you get to walk back to your room with no towels. Our room had a bathroom so small with the sink outside of the bathroom so you get to open the bathroom door with dirty hands and walk over to a sink in the bedroom to wash your hands. Extremely disappointing, it also felt like they were trying to sell and up charge everything they could. If it's your child's birthday you pay $40 for a plastic sign on your door and a few balloons in the room. Do not waste your time, money and sanity on this place.

I have stayed here many times without an issue. However upon checkout this time I was charged for 1 breakfast buffet when I never even went to the restaurant. I was told the finance department would have to “research the issue” and could take a week or more before they would decide if I would be refunded or not. Perhaps they should change their “charge to room” feature for restaurants to match the other shops of scanning the wrist band not just manually writing down a room number (which could be anyone). Also, the hotel is in the process of setting up a system to change a fee for parking. Additionally, the kids movie experience was down during our stay.

All activities and events were in close proximity, food was good, variety of activities for the kids. More instructions about what was offered at the facility--esp. for first time visitors-would have been helpful.

They do a terrific job with kids and families at Great Wolf Lodge. I brought my 6-1/2yo daughter here for a few days over Spring Break and quickly learned that it was more than just a hotel with an indoor water park. They have many other activities, most of which are pay-to-play not surprisingly, but the one that surprised me the most was that they host group activities in their Lobby (Great Room? Fireside Room?) such as little dance parties for the kids each night, story time during the day and what appeared to be a stretching or yoga-style workout in the morning. These activities are free for everyone to participate and were easily the best way for kids and families to make new friends. They do a good job of performing standard nightly cleaning with the water park and it felt like everyone felt safe and comfortable there overall, but you could tell that the place never gets much of a break from the constant use of hundreds of people everyday and exposure to it's own nonstop wet & humid indoor environment. Feels like it could benefit from an extended maintenance campaign where they deep clean everything and complete repairs to even the smallest items like replacing the fill & spill buckets on the water castle that you can see have taken a beating, rusted in places and been painted over countless times. No concern with safety, just things that probably need a little more down time to fix than the place gets overnight. Their lifeguards and entire staff are terrific though!
