Inn at the Sea

Location was great. The room was clean and spacious. Good for our family of 4. Check in was easy. Grab and go breakfast had a good selection. Something for everyone. A couple of complaints: 1) We had a room on the first floor and the sound of people walking in the room above us kept me up all night. 2) The walls are so thin that we could easily hear our neighbors.

We liked that the bike rentals were free for our grandkids. The room was spacious and clean. I wasn't fond of the stairs, they were pretty steep but I think the ground floor would have been noisy.

The photos were a bit misleading, as we thought we'd have two rooms in the "suite" but it was actually a "studio." The beds were comfortable and we slept well until the kids upstairs started jumping enthusiastically at 6:45am. The only real complaint was the tub that didn't drain - yuck.

Nothing was as it seemed. The front desk staff were disjointed and giving different info out. One gentleman was kind and tried to be professional. The breakfast grab-n-go was underwhelming, lacked nutrition, and all prepackaged junk food was not worth the extra cost. We could not feed our child that kind of food. We ate somewhere else. The room appeared clean. The bed was comfy. We spilled some water on the floor. When we wiped it up, the floor was disgustingly dirty. We all wore shoes until bedtime. Parking was hit and miss. Positives... no bedbugs, it was quiet for a Friday, the rest of the amenities appeared clean, but after the floor we passed on showering. Good news, we survived one night at $260.... lessoned learned...listen to that little voice in your head... go with a 4-5 star ratings.

The people above us were making noise until after 1 o’clock in the morning, jumping up and down on the floor, screaming and yelling the next night and we got no sleep until after one to 2 o’clock in the morning and then it started back up when the kids were upstairs at about 7 o’clock

This is the cleanest, friendliest, and most comfortable place to stay in Long Beach. The open layout of the rooms with easy to clean floors are great for kids to have room to play. Multiple sinks in clam cleaning-laundry room is perfect for folks digging razor clams or washing wet beach clothes. Prices are very low for the value of the amenities and level of service. We’ve stayed at all of the hotels in LB over the years from expensive boutiques to little mom and pop places. This is the best.

Hi, my name is Carol O'Mara. I wanted to let everyone know that I stayed at the "Inn at the Sea" in Long Beach, Washington November 18th - November 20th of this year. It was the most pleasant experience. Service at the front desk when I checked in was so very nice. I stayed in Room# 113. Oh my gosh, the room was huge, had two queen size very inviting beds. So very clean which is extremely important to me, well to anyone. I slept so well the two nights I stayed there. It was quiet and very peaceful. Oh and pet friendly, which was very important to me. I know from now on when I'm in Long Beach for a family get to gather I will be Staying at the "Inn at the Sea."

There’s a ton to do within a short walking distance including a great bakery and seafood restaurant/bar, the beach, activity rentals, I think an arcade? I stayed in the Captain’s Quarters which was effectively a separate studio apartment on the property. Everything seemed safe and family friendly, and the lot has EV chargers if that’s what you need.

Having 3 beds in one room for a family of 5was great.

Awesome customer service, good breakfast grab and go options. My son was a little sad there were no kid size bikes to use but our stay was great.
