This hotel is really visually appealing, offers a late night bar/happy hour menu and is located right by some great coffee/dining options. The rooms are small - they are more European designed, but they are very high tech and comfortable. We did just fine with two people, but if you are travelling with a kid, it might be tough to fit all of you in one King sized room. Great gym and amenitites.

The beds and pillows are made of granite. I woke up with so much pain in my neck and back from the 'fluffy' pillow that I ended up using my balled up jacket as a pillow for the rest of our stay. Also, I did know that the rooms would be smaller than typical- but wow the elevator is bigger than the room. A very tight fit for two people with luggage. Also, I had a negative experience at check in. The young woman checking me in had a problem that she wasn't sure how to deal with, and when she tried to ask her manager, the manager basically just gave us a look and walked away and refused to help, leaving this woman and I staring at each other for an uncomfortable five minutes before another employee came along and helped. Not sure if the managers problem was with the check in person or with us. Overall, I get what this hotel is going for, but they are not pulling it off. It is like an Econolodge trying to be a Marriott, and the staff I interacted with stuck me as kids playing at running a hotel. Sorry citizenM, I really wanted to like the place. Otherwise, the location is great for touristing.

This is a nice hotel, but is not for families. Rooms are made for one person.

Me, my fiancé, an my 3 month old stayed here for a weekend trip to Seattle. The surrounding area isn’t too kid friendly but the hotel was great! The art and lounge areas were immaculate and the staff was super sweet. Everything you need to see in Seattle tourist wise is nothing short of a walk away and it was great. Will definitely be staying at citizenM hotels wherever we go next!

The breakfast was very good. The room was extremely, extremely small! You cannot both pass at the same time. Room has bare necessities! Maybe good for two twenty year olds! Got a claustrophobic feel when I first entered, but managed to fight it off. Do NOT stay here if you are older than 29 and I’m not kidding!

They tried to make a hotel that's clever and cute but ended up with a nightmare of colored lights and ipad-controlled tech that doesn't work as intended. There's almost no service from staff and a rude, anti-family atmosphere. The f-you "artwork" and general decor is horrible. I'd rather stay in a run down hotel than this bad example of a cutting edge enterprise.

This is a hotel for millennials are younger not for baby boomers or any actual adult seasoned travelers. It’s basically a dormitory room. I’ve been on trains in Europe that had roomier accommodations overnight. They’re assuming you don’t have a car because they made no provisions whatsoever to park one. Two people trying to dress for a wedding were falling all over themselves. Bright orange carpet is hideous. Constant loud music in lobby belies its presentation as your common “living room“. Seriously if you’re more than about 14 or a serious hipster this is not going to appeal to you.

LOVED MY EXPERIENCE HERE‼️ I asked them for a happy birthday to display on tv but instead they hand made one and blew some balloons up and put them in the room for my man. They were all so welcoming and friendly, literally like coming home from college or meeting up with long lost cousins at a family reunion 😂 but no seriously that’s how welcoming and friendly they are. Willing to help and go above and beyond I appreciate the staff the bartender as well he was funny and has incredible energy. I will definitely be returning and I have be sharing this with all my friends and family to come stay or visit CitizenM it’s definitely worth the pay and stay💕

Liked the location and walking distance to good restaurants, offices.
Staff is extremely good and very supportive. Room is small for a family and just OK. Rooms are well suited if you are staying alone.
Well decorated and maintained interiors. Breakfast Buffet is a bit costly.
