The hotel was great. A nice quaint hotel. I gave the property around it a 3 star because of all the crazy homeless people there. But, you will have that at any hotel in the downtown area. I would definitely not be out after dark and not a good place for children. I did love the location because we could walk to entering we wanted to see.

Great way to get back in to the Seattle sights Of course the Pier and city changes / Restaurants were pleasers and not too harsh on baby boomer senior budgets. Different communities in a city always evolving .

This place is a gem. Very helpful and friendly staff, a clean room, the front door is locked up at night, and there are bus stops very close by. Roof access for a view. Parking is extra $ and is across the street. There can be some noise if you have a streetside room, but that’s to be expected in a large city. There are rooms available on a quieter side of the building, if preferred. Market, coffee houses, and a walk-up breakfast spot very close by. This was a surprisingly good find, very close to where some of my family lives, and I will definitely stay here again.

Front desk accidentally called our room at 6am and woke up our 18 month old and 3 year old. Now we have grumpy toddlers who were woken up for no reason. Pretty annoying for a $330 hotel stay!

I was recently in Seatle with friends and family. I decided to save money and stay at the Belltown. The hotel is older, but it is clean and the front desk staff is first-rate! One young lady helped me reset the clock on my iPhone as it failed to update the local time. The room was clean, the water in the bathroom was hot...what else do you need? I will say the location (3rd Street) is probably one of the areas you see on the news. There were a great many homeless people sleeping in doorways and all kinds of drug use in open view. You'll be fine if you Uber-I wouldn't recommend walking.
