Our stay at the Pineapple in Seattle was comfortable and what we needed for our family. The downtown area’s public transportation was awesome to get around. We were in the area for a three night stay. Our room had an amazing view on the 5th floor. There were supplemental fees added upon check in for parking and amenities. Seattle has limited parking for rentals cars. The hotel is within walking distance to the space needle and monorail.
The hotel was comfortable, pleasant and the staff were super professional.
The only issue we had was the lack of restaurants close by. There was a grocery market about a block away.

Enjoyed our stay. Very walkable and safe location. Hotel had lots of pizzazz and excellent staff. The pool is small but suitable for a quick dip while traveling. It could use a cleaning.
Our room was great … comfortable. Loved the duvets and robes. I recommend the hotel install coat hooks in the very spacious entrance since there isn’t a full size closet. Also more hanging hooks for towels in the bathroom is needed for family.
These are just minor additions that would make the hotel rooms much more accommodating.
I would absolutely recommend to a friend or return to stay here again.

Our family of four stayed for two days and our experience was great. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. The hotel has an overall modern but welcoming retro vibe. My teenagers loved it. The staff were all very polite, friendly and helpful. We highly recommend this great find.

We are regular guests at The Maxwell Hotel – for a reason. They are always super friendly, helpful, accommodating, and have one of the nicest properties in the Seattle Center / Queen Anne area of Seattle. It's a great spot for couples or families (including our family of 4) to stay while exploring all of the great things Seattle has to offer. Very comfortable and clean rooms, great showers, and always in great working order.

Very clean and family friendly
hotel. We had a family group of 10. Four rooms total, and each person noted how comfortable the beds were! It’s located walking distance to the Space Needle and other attractions. I loved the “love” theme around the hotel. Kids got a kick out of it.

We reserved a Junior Suite. The cost of the night was 400.00 a night. The room came with (2) king beds and a pull-out. The room size was ok. The pictures have you believe the couch is in a separate room, but it is not. It is just one long room. What I liked first; the staff! Everyone was really nice and very helpful. The beds were comfortable, and even the pull-out was surprisingly comfortable. What I didn't like, besides the 400 a night charge, they charged me an additional person fee of 40.00. Why? The room was more than able to accommodate 4 adults and 2 kids (ages 6 months & 2 years old). They provided nothing additional, no extra towels, or coffee for the room. So I am confused about the additional 40.00. Then parking is not included. We had two cars so that was an extra 43.00 per car. When everything was said and done that one night cost me over 650.00. Then to top it off there is no continental breakfast provided. You would think for 650.00 they could have put out some muffins and fruit.

The staff were the reason I gave this hotel 2 stars. Upon check in, we qualified for a complimentary upgrade given our VIP status on Expedia. However, the front desk staff refused to honor this upgrade and dismissively stated that they were sold out even though those upgrade rooms were still available on Expedia well into the late evening. Then they gave us a hard time when we requested a room on a higher floor away from the elevator. They explained that they usually place families with children on lower floors close to the elevator because of the potential noise. This seemed like an odd generalization of families with children. We’ve stayed at many other hotels and have never run into such policies nor difficulties when requesting a different room if available. Finally we had to check out early in the morning due to our flight. The front desk staff person took 10-15 minutes to check us out and print an invoice even though we were the only ones at the desk. At one point I politely asked if he could expedite the check out so that we don’t miss our flight. The staff reacted as though I was asking him to go above and beyond his call of duty. I thought boutique hotels were special because they provided a slightly higher level of service. That’s why they charged prices that were slightly higher than comparable hotels. That was certainly not the case at this location.

The hotel and room were very cute and cozy. Cleanliness was incredible and the bedding was super cozy. I love that the hotel is very pet friendly and family friendly! The downside is the parking is very expensive. With tax it was roughly $52 a day and we had two cars. On top of that, I was charged an extra day and when I confronted the front desk over the phone regarding why the math did not seem right I was brushed off and told “I don’t know, must be extra taxes.” When I requested an itemized receipt I was able to see that I had been charged for three days instead of two. They refunded the money but I felt I was quickly dismissed and belittled for questioning why I was being charged an extra $50.
