Stayed here for our last few nights in Seattle. Hotel restaurants have slow with terrible service and they add the 20% tip on no matter what. She never refilled our drinks. I flagged her,When she came over to ask if everything was fine I said “no”, I started to talk but she walked away. My husband had to get us water from the self serve container at the bar. We asked for the check and was planing to not tip at all but I realized that is why she didn’t care about her service. She still gets a tip! Had booked for 4 adults in room and they didn’t provide enough towels. I asked for more and said they would bring up 4 more sets but didn’t. Elevator were packed and took forever so a few times we took the stairs. ( 7th floor!) the parking and internet I thought was included but it wasn’t. $50 per night for parking. City is filled with drug addicts and homeless and everything seemed to close earlier than expected. Everything books up fast so get tickets to attractions ahead of time as well as reservations for dinning outside of the hotel. After our long vacation of hiking the parks I wanted to take a bath so I went to pull up the drain stop and it was broken. So I could not take my long awaited bath. Water was super hot and after staying in places with my family and having to time your quick showers just to have hot water or shower not at all I was happy about that. So after our first night I noticed the water would not get very hot at all like someone turned it down. I expected more

The hotel room was very clean and they were kind enough to provide complimentary snacks and drinks, which was really nice! The area is very walkable and it was only a 15 min walk to Pike Place Market. The only critique I have is that the room walls are very thin and I could hear the children playing in the room next door, in addition to someone’s alarm in the morning. Otherwise, everything was great!

Any time we want to go up to our room, or down from our room, we needed to add at least 20 minutes to our timeline. Only 2/5 elevators are functional, and they are very slow. During breakfast and check out time, you have to watch 5 or 6 elevators go by before there’s one with enough space to get on. My family had to split up and take turns getting down. Then we called down ahead of time to the valet to get our car. When we got down, the car was there, but the valet was gone. We had to wait another 20 minutes to find someone that could give us our keys. It was a frustrating experience. We are usually easy going and don’t write reviews, but we will not stay here again.

This was a beautiful property, however the beds were hard and very small in the double bed rooms. Due to the small and hard beds, it was not a family friendly space for us. Also, the air conditioning in our room had minimal output and the lobby and lounge areas had no air conditioning going and it was hot and humid. I paid $16 for a grande latte and short hot chocolate, $45 for self-parking. The location is fairly good as it is close to I-5, within 4-5 blocks of downtown attractions, and 6-8 blocks to the waterfront.

Travelers beware. This property lured me in to book a junior suite, corner room with pictures of nice views, glassed-in shower inside spacious bathroom and inviting decor. Upon arrival, management gave us a bare-bones room directly above Interstate 5 with a shower/tub combo and literally no decor except one lone painting above the couch. It was an utterly cheerless space and complete disappointment for a 3-day reunion with our adult daughter. Management bordered on rude after attempts to move away from noisy, ugly freeway. Manager said he'd try to shift us the rest of our stay to a nicer, quiet room and didn't bother to circle back to at least say he was unable to do so or offer a beverage or otherwise sweeten a disappointing experience. Beware the bait and switch before booking with this property. Not my typical experience with Marriott as a member, but will not patronize this corporation again on principle.

Usually love Marriott however this did not feel like a Marriott. Wifi and extras overpriced. Overall lacking quality and value. Not impressed. Neither was family who booked separately.
