Kimpton Hotel Vintage Seattle, an IHG Hotel

my family and I loved the ambiance and the location of the hotel. most everything was walking distance.

Edna at the front desk was AMAZING!!! She provided excellent service. Prior to checking in, a family member called to let the hotel know there was a surprise delivery coming for me. Edna answered the phone and was a delight. She promised to take the items directly to my room so they'd be there when I checked in. When she found out I was starting a new job the next day (told by my relative), she left a split of champagne as a congratulations gift! When I checked in, Edna mentioned that she heard I was starting a new job. Super friendly, upbeat and she seemed genuinely pleased for me. I knew my relative must have called, but didn't really know why. When I got to my room, I found the delivery from my family as well as the champagne from the hotel. Totally unexpected! WOW service! Valet parking (you have to pay) was prompt and helped me save time coming and going (when not walking). I had a great corner room. Impeccable. Everything was convenient to downtown Seattle and my (new) office.

Overall okay rating, not enough towels for a family of 4 and the sofa bed wasn’t comfortable, no blankets, we slept with sheets. I wish it would have stated somewhere on the site about bringing your own comforters. At least we had a place to lay our heads is how I see it, won’t be back though.
