Restaurants, grocery store and mall all right next to the hotel. Breakfast options were very good! A staff member allowed us to borrow some Windex for our car windshield which was greatly appreciated. Not much sound proofing. We could hear the train and a screaming child at the end of the hall. The bathroom sink needs an update.

Had a wonderful stay. The pool had so many chemicals, my family and i had to leave after only 20 minutes. We couldn't breathe or see. It was really overwhelming. Other than that, the stay was great!

This hotel was awful the room we were given smelled so strong of cigarettes that I had an instant headache. We called down for blankets for the pull out couch and the front desk brought it up and I wants her to smell it and she said “yes sorry they even tried to paint the bathroom to get rid of the smell, sorry you got here late and this was the last room” Are you kidding me I got a room to sleep 4 with a pull out for my grandson. There were cigarette burn marks on the counter top in bathroom. I made the comment when leaving about how terrible the room smelled and that I should charge the hotel $250 for smoking in the room I was forced to stay at (it was almost 11pm when we got there and didn’t have time or money to find a different place to stay) the response was “we didn’t even get to charge the person who did it so that’s our loss” Are you kidding me I couldn’t even shower because I couldn’t close the bathroom door because of the smell. When I mentioned the smell the reaction from employees was oh you were in room 320. I left my phone number and my husbands number for the owner to call me since it was Saturday and she wouldn’t be on until Monday. Well it is currently Thursday and still no call. Why rent this room if you and all your employees know how bad the smell is. Bad business for sure

I've stayed here a few times. This time I stayed for 2 nights and they had marked I put my door sign for no cleaning, when I never had a sign to put up. So my kids and I had to go ask for clean towels, toilet paper, etc.. The lady at the desk was very nice. I do appreciate the breakfast in the morning with kids because there is enough variety. I would love to see a clock in the pool area, it is the one area I don't want to take my phone for a clock.

Our room was fine and the customer service was great. Not so good was hearing children running up and down the halls when you are trying to sleep at night made it hard to rest. The walls are very thin, so you also hear other things in the morning you wish you didn't.

Comfortable, clean, hotel shows a little age in small cracks, but is well maintained: new caulking in the bathroom, repairs done on chips in the tub. Shower head could have used som TLC. This place was recommended by family who had stayed there. Breakfast was a little light, but par for the course in this economic environment and for the size of the property. Loved the waterfall wall in the lobby. Wonderful stay for my wife’s birthday.

I am getting to know the clerks there because I have been staying there quite often now to go down to see family and friends in the area. I really like the staff and they are all very nice and curates.

We were totally pleased with our stay at Guest House Kelso Longview. Property exterior was in good shape. The pet area landscaping could use some tending, but overall the property presents well, clean, updated. Our room was spacious and clean except for the sink in the bathroom which had a wad of what appeared to be soap stuck in the drain. I believe the owners are in the process of renovating or updating rooms. Our room was fine, but had some worn furniture. Flooring was laminate, which we prefer over impossible to clean carpeting. The bed was super comfortable and clean. Window opened with a screen to prevent bugs. Third floor view was of beautiful tall trees. The downside, a bit of street noise (shopping center area), a few train whistles, and a homeless tent nearby. However, none of that would deter us from staying here again. Easy to find. Many stores walkable for basic needs, plus restaurants and even a cinema. The young woman who checked us in, and out the next day, was a bright light. Friendly, efficient, and welcoming. Overall we had a great stay and would recommend this lodging to friends and family. Nice job, GuestHouse.

I know they have been remodeling but no carpet in the room is it a cold hospital feeling..it 2as probably he cleanest hotel ive been in , in months . It was rather noisy . A group of kid's were staying there. All inheard all night was,"bruh, no way bruh" i didnt get much sleep for work the next. Day. I dont think id stay there again. I want carpet and less hallway noise

This was a trip i did not intend to need. We had an electrical fire in my home and i need a place to stay for a week. I have 2 special needs children and was extremely stressed as i had never stayed in a hotel with them. First it is an older property so if you want glitz this isnt it. This however was exactly what i was looking for 100 percent kid friendly. They made sure we were in the corner by the stairs so my son did not have to take the elevator (it terrified him) and when my son had a potty accident they were so incredibly understanding and kind i cried. This could have been the worst week, but instead the front desk amd cleaning ladies went above and beyond to make this experience less stressful for both me and my children. If you are a family with kid 10 out of 10 place to stay for you. Understanding and kind staff.
