Holiday Inn Express Vancouver North - Salmon Creek, an IHG Hotel

It is quiet and close to my family.

Room was clean and the pool was open. I was there on business but also brought my kids. It was nice that my kids were able to swim in the indoor pool and hot tub. The pool is open 24 hours. The breakfast is included and was not bad at all. They had some biscuits and gravy as well as bacon, pancakes, and omelets. It was better than a continental breakfast. .. Nothing super fancy but enough choices and food was not bad. My room was comfortable. I like the full size shampoo conditioner, lotion and body wash provided. The lotion was nice after the pool. Everything was dove brand. The bed was comfortable and clean. I liked the pillows. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. I had no issues with the WiFi working and was able to connect for work and get everything done.

This is absolutely the worst Holiday Inn Express I have ever stayed in. I booked three rooms for a family trip and all three rooms smelled of stale cigarettes. Carpets were not vacuumed. My shower wall was dirty. The window in my room was partially opened and would not close all the way and the lock was broken. The coffee makers all needed cleaned out. The coffee we made in them tasted awful. The staff was slow and lazy. The breakfast was terrible and mostly cold. The person on the front desk in the morning was too busy on her phone to be bothered with her job. I will never stay here again.

Our room was very loud at night sitting right above the main doors. We also didn’t get the bathtub that was advertised and instead had a shower. A nice shower! But not nice for bathing small children. Staff was really nice and the pool was newly reopened the day after we arrived. Wish it would have been open day 1 but at least we got some time in it! Room was old but cleaned very well. All but 1 staff member was exceptional and kind. Would absolutely not stay again as a family. Especially as one of the most expensive hotels in the area.

The staff were excellent and went above and beyond! Im travelling with my two very little children by myself and my car batter died at checkout. Becky at the front desk saw my hood up and sent their maintenance worker out to investigate. The GM pulled up with her own car to give me a jump! Would absolutely stay here again!

After searching for literal hours to find a room for the night on the drive back to Washington from Utah, I stumbled upon this place that happened to be merely minutes from a family members home. I was thrilled that not only was I going to be able to stop and visit the next morning with them now, but that’s the room was clean, spacious, and comfortable! The shower had plenty of hot water ( issue at last hotel on the trip) the ac was nice and cool, the breakfast options were plentiful and delicious, and it was extremely convenient, right off the freeway and still felt safe, which is quite a switch from every other option in the greater Vancouver/Portland area. Will definitely stay here again, and soon!!

Room 205 was very disappointing (door had wear like it was smashed in previously, window screen was broken and hanging half attached, carpet was gross and in need of replacement, and room was incredibly small and not up to holiday inn express standards at all). I stay in hotels regularly and am by no means a baby—you get what you pay for—but the pics and rating for this hotel are not accurate.

We did not get the room we reserved. When we arrived we were put into a smaller double handicapped room with our children all 3 had to share one bed. The motel was overbooked by 2 rooms and there was nothing them we could do. Then the hotel charges us an additional fee for staying there besides the money we paid Expedia.

The awesome 2 bedroom was perfect for my kids and I!

Pleasantly surprised at our stay here. I was worried about some reviews… but this was perfect for our family of 4 with two kids! Highly recommend.
