RiverTree Inn & Suites

My hotel stay was not bad, but not great either. About what one would expect from a 3 star hotel. I had some dirty pillow cases, or they were stained permanently. Either way, unusable. The carpet in my room could have used a good cleaning or be due for replacement. The room and facilities overall were old/dated, but seemed to be kept up well. In room amenities were better than expected with a small dinette with fridge, satellite TV and plenty of seating. Free Breakfast was the typical stuff. There were also kids running around the courtyard until midnight, which was mostly an annoyance. Parking was limited, but did not affect me.

It was a pretty decent place, family friendly with the rooms. The cleaning of the rooms definitly need improvement! The shower/toilet wasnt cleaned (hairs everywhere), the kitchen plates and pots werent cleaned (still had food on them, in the cupboard), and the dish water had a decent amount of water sitting and stunk!

The staff make you feel like visiting with family. Courteous staff and clean rooms. Excellent value.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great, loved the grab and go egg and sausage sandwiches. The pool is outside so not as helpful for little kids who get cold easy, which I didn't realize when I booked. Tub and carpet had stains and areas that aren't as clean as I typically see in hotels. The little kitchen was handy and would be great for longer stays.

Rooms are slightly dated but well kept. Comfortable beds. Nice pool for the kiddos. We were there for a week, and the free breakfast was basic and very similar from day to day. I opted for breakfast out a few mornings because of that reason. Overall a decent place to stay.

I was notified the hot tub was open 24 hrs. Upon arrival we were told it closed at 10. I asked for a late check out due to a death in my family and I was told we had to check out promptly at 11. Since the room was booked for that day. Check in time is 3pm so the housekeeping staff would of had plenty of time to clean our room if we checked out at 12 or 1 as our room was not dirty at all. I will not return.

My stay at this hotel was great until the morning I was supposed to check out. The lady at the front desk was not accommodating at all and very rude. I was having trouble with my autistic son and when I called down to the front desk to explain things to her, she huffed at me and made it very clear that she was not happy for inconveniencing her. Just a thought, if you don't like working with people, don't work with them. My family lives in this area but sadly we will never stay here again.

The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was better than most continentals. My only negative is that it’s shown as a pet friendly hotel and it’s only dog friendly. Our family is moving across states and our kitten had to sleep in our vehicle.
