This used to really be a great place to stay. Our son and grandkids live in Clarkston, and we travel down from Alaska and visit them a couple times a year (pre-pandemic) One of the highlights was staying here at the Holiday inn. Large, comfy rooms, attentive staff, and a beautiful view. A true highlight was the (included) breakfast. We loved the breakfast and is was something we always looked forward to. Well, post pandemic, scratch most of that. And especially the breakfast. Staff is non existant and listless. Rooms are kinda dirty and cold. Breakfast is really, really bad. Like, worse than elementary school breakfast bad. Our power went out in the middle of the night, no heat, no light, and a fire alarm beeping incessantly. I had to physically remove it and stick it in the fridge to muffle it enough to sleep. No staff contacted us to offer an explanation as to what happened, no contact whatsoever. Also no breakfast, (probably for the best). this was our last night so we just checked out and went on our merry way.

Holiday Inn has been our family choice for years. At any location the staff has always been polite and sincere and they love pets. This location is no different. The property is new. It’s located right across Walmart and a few restaurants and at the same time very private. The room was very comfortable and big to accommodate 4 of us plus our large dog. The breakfast was the best. Advice you to add it to your booking.

I've enjoyed this hotel in the past but will no longer stay there. The breakfast is now expensive and there's no were to relax in the lobby with a adult/child. The entire lobby is now a bar 21 and older which meant my 19-year-old daughter wasn't allowed so we all went back to our rooms. There was no common space available to chat with family also staying in the hotel, yet the bar was completely empty, not a single person in those comfy chairs. Ridiculous! I would have suspected the actual bar top to be 21 and older, but no it's the entire space. I won't be back! Plus the rates have gone up drastically, not worth what you get.
