Exceeded my expectation. Loved the wood columns and stairs and doors. Beautiful. Best view of ocean AND Mt. Baker. Had everything: free bikes, s'mores, pool, hot tub, beach bonfires, movies (for the kids), games, a tons of beach combing. They left a nice card and chocolates for our special occasion. Definitely glad i got the ocean view. Great food and best sunsets ever. Thank you!!!

Staff was friendly. The only plus of our stay. Our bathroom door lock was broken. Our heater/AC made a loud banging sound when it was on. We told the front desk and had maintenance come out but told us it was a new fan. We were told we could request a space heater or standing fan. At dinner they offered a buffet which our daughter chose for her dinner but by the time she went to get her main food they were already clearing the food. We had no heads up from our waitress. My wife ordered pasta but when it was brought out it was a different pasta and our server told us she forgot that they were out of pasta she ordered. Server never gave my wife the chance to order something else. At night people were running down the hallways and stomping on the floor above us. We tried to go swimming but they didn’t have towels and it took forever for new towels and o coke so we had to go back to our room and use our Own which is wasted a bunch of time. We came here to have a night to relax as a small family and this trip was the opposite where we were stressed out. I understand that it being memorial weekend it was going to be busy but the resort just seemed unprepared at every aspect. We had a horrible experience.

Front desk was ok. But all in all they handled the everything like champs and you wouldn't have known of it was he yic or not. Definitelyadr our family getaway!!

Our trip was disappointing despite a great, roomy room. We arrived at 4pm (check in) and were told they were ‘behind’ and our room wasn’t ready. We weren’t alone as the lobby was full with nowhere to sit. We spent an hour outside in the rain and wind before our room was ready. I booked a view room and even after having to wait in the weather for an hour, we were given a room with a view of the parking lot. Once settled we went to dinner. My child ordered the pasta, which was less than a cup of noodles, I ordered the schnitzel which was bizarrely massive, literally the size of a large dinner plate and had a very strange taste to it, very unappetizing. We both left hungry. The next morning we were looking forward to breakfast since we didn’t have a great dinner. Two of the three restaurants were closed. The one that was open is essentially a glorified coffee shop. My child ordered pancakes. They came to us after ordering and said they were out of pancakes and there wasn’t much else available. They offered to refund us and give her a muffin. We didn’t have a choice so we took the muffin. Then they came back and said they decided NOT to refund us and they would just bring her a bacon and egg… what? Is this serious? We paid over $40 for a tea, a burrito and a muffin we didn’t even want or order. We left and went straight to eat after spending $40… unacceptable. The entire experience has led us to have no desire to return. There are many others choices out there, this isn’t it.

Staff was very nice! The restaurants were totally booked when we arrived so we didn't get to dine where we wanted to. So be sure to make dinner reservations before you arrive! The food was great! We were there for the final summer bbq and the food was delicious! Not just hamburgers and hot dogs, but lots of options. The huge cupcakes were so fun and tasty! The kids loving looking for sea glass and skipping rocks. There was quite a bit of seaweed on the shore they couldn't really get too close to the water but they still had a great time. My husband and I had a nice wine tasing outdoors right when we arrived and the kids played with the bean bag game. The room was big and bright with amazing blackout curtains that rolled up with no light gaps! that was great for sleeping in! I loved that we could text with the staff. they were quick to respond and accommodate. The pool and hot tub were nice, but there weren't enough chairs or places to sit. More seating would be nice. The movie theater was a nice touch. although we didn't make it there during our stay, the kids were excited about the option to do that. More quick breakfast options in the cafe would've been nice as they were sold out by 10 am when we got ready and got down there. Also, a self serve coffee area would be nice since the 1 and only Barista was a little slow making americanos 1 by 1. But Overall, lovely property. quick place to relax and hang out. We'll be back.

My family was really looking forward to staying here but we were disappointed. My kids were upset the pool was closed during our stay. The room was not clean (sunflower seeds, candy, paper bits on the floor), we had no hot water (did not know until the next morning), shower was broken, sink was leaking on the floor, the fridge froze all of our food and drinks. Not what you expect for what you pay here! I told 2 staff members but both did not seem to care. Then they still charged me the resort fee!

This was my first time going and I went with one of my best friends. We lucked out with weather it was sunny and beautiful, they have bikes you can use to cruise around, the pool was heated and the grounds where really nice. There is a nice restaurant on the grounds, a nice rocky beach to walk and the views are beautiful. I’d go back and I think it would be a fun place to take kids. But also a great place to just away with friends or even by yourself if you want to go somewhere peaceful.

It is a beautiful place on the outside. I expected it to be a little more beautiful on the inside. The room was nice but nothing more than I've gotten at a cheaper hotel. The beds were OK. We had a baby with us and struggled to get our things in and out and no one even offered to help us. Employees just stood there and watched. When looking for an extra blanket the front desk did not answer..it was after midnight. I have never had a front desk not be there. The restaurant we ate at was very good and the staff there was very nice. I don't remember the name but we sat outside and it was wonderful. Staff was helpful there. It was a pleasant stay all in all but not what I would call a resort experience.

good for kids, food wasn't as great as i remembered but it was still good. kids menu $5 -- AWESOME! the room was spacious and clean and quiet, the pool was great (half indoor, half out). the ping pong table was a big hit but they could use a new one. the grounds were lovely and the friday night beach BBQ was fun and entertaining and a nice mixed crowd. great rate on hotels.ca -- woudl stay again.
