Convenient when visiting friends / family in White Rock and South Surrey!

Our family enjoyed a great weekend at Ocean Promenade Hotel. Excellent location, so clean and comfortable and spacious. Beautiful balcony view and the underground safe parking was a bonus. Good value for the amenities. Thank you !!!

Convenient location for visiting family in a White Rock / South Surrey. Not pleased with $23 plus tax for parking overnight on-site.

The room overall was nice (but for what you pay I would hope so) so I’m giving it a 4 as the below are just annoyances, not reasons to not stay there. The things that were disappointing were: 1. No thermostat for the ac (or heat), so it took awhile to see the wall units which were hidden by the furniture (seemed like they were storing furniture in there it was so much) 2. Faucet in kitchen felt like it would come out every time you used it and got everything wet with the spray back from the sink. 3. main fireplace wouldn’t come on 4. Tons of light switches and appeared most did nothing 5. No electric outlets near / around beds to plug in phones etc. 6. Very little light in bedroom and switch broken off one of the lamps so we could only use one 7. Fridge made an odd loud noise the whole time which my mom initially thought was a dog barking outside. 8. It would have been ocean view which would have been lovely but they planted some massive ugly tall grass plant where the view is so you end only seeing buildings, cars and the street. 9. Very tiny tub/ shower (my mom had been looking forward to a bath but couldn’t as it was child size. 10. Staff at the front were great but staff we came across in the hallways and doors not as nice. 11. You cannot park on the street unless you pay $36 for 12hrs and the underground parking is $18 but only if there is space and you better hope you have a small car with lots of cameras as it’s ugly trying to maneuver in there.

Very clean hotel. They do a great job cleaning daily. The kitchen is fully equipped, along with a dishwasher. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. It is very safe and they care about your safety. The area is very nice. The beach is just across the street. Inside the room was very quiet. Comfortable bed, we slept like babies. I strongly recommend this hotel to everyone.

I found that this was a bit of a hidden gem. It's always hard to tell from photos what exactly you might be booking, but I was very pleasantly surprised with the hotel, amenities, staff, etc. It was our first time staying here and I'd happily return to this spot in the future. We were visiting family in White Rock over the Canada Day holidays and this ended up being the perfect spot for my family to stay. Highly recommend the Ocean Promenade Hotel for any stay in the White Rock area, but especially if you value proximity to the ocean/beach.
