Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Woodbridge, an IHG Hotel

We did not stay long. They had an indoor pool that we did not use, but it was nice to see several families enjoying their stay. Breakfast was good and the area was clean. The room looked like it had been recently updated except for the carpet. The newness of everything dated the carpet. The bed was comfortable.

Lots of noise. Seems like zero insulation on walls and floors. Could hear kids crying, people talking.

Enjoyed my stay with my family

Everything was great! When we had a problem with our room they move us to another room with no hesitation. They was very helpful and nice! And by them moving me and my family I was able to be close to my mother’s room. And our room was a little bigger and that work out great! And the beds are so comfortable, my back did not hurt at all! The breakfast was really nice. And the hotel is nice and clean. Thank you to all the staff and to our housekeeper who came and asked everyday if we wanted our room clean. If you need a hotel come here!!

We had a fantastic stay here! Most notably, the staff were so friendly and helpful. They really made us feel welcome. Our room was spacious and easily 3 kids and 2 adults. The pool was easily accessible and perfect for us. Breakfast is had a great variety. We especially loved the pancakes and Cinnabon cinnamon rolls.

My family and I were completely disappointed in our stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Woodbridge, VA. Upon arriving to our room we quickly noticed that the room was not serviced properly. Our shower head was disgusting, it was packed with mildew, there were food stains on the sofa, and a used bandage was left on the night stand by the bed. Our mattress had clearly seen better days as it was sunken in in the middle. I ended up sleeping at the foot of the bed so not to damage my back. Iended up driving to WalMart to purchase cleaning supplies to clean the short myself as u was afraid that the mildew would come off on our skin. When I asked the floor attendee for an extra towel to go to the pool, she replied that she did not understand English. Once we made it to the pool, there was a sign on the door stating that the pool water was green due to a St. Patrick's Day party. Unacceptable, St. Patrick's Day was will over 2 weeks ago. The pool should have been cleaned and restored to its clear water state by then. We choose that hotel particularly because of the indoor pool, but we were not comfortable using it with green water. I should not have had to purchase cleaning supplies. I have attached several photos showing our room. What a disappointing stay.

We had such a nice stay at this hotel. It is convenient to everything and just a couple of minutes from Potomac Mills. It's very affordable for a very well kept hotel. Donnell, the manager is the one who checked us in and was probably the nicest hotel staff person I have ever dealt with. Not only with me and my family but with his staff as well. When we got to our room, it was still in the process of being cleaned even though we arrived after check-in. Donnell was super apologetic and went above and beyond to remedy the situation by giving us a bigger and better room which we greatly enjoyed. He was also there the following day when we checked out and was equally as nice and pleasant to talk with. The only "negatives" were there weren't enough washcloths provided (we could have easily requested some, it just wasn't that important to us) and the tub didn't drain so water collected as we showered. However, even with these minor things we look forward to staying here in the future!
