Comfort Suites Near Potomac Mills

Amazing hotel with the room with a door excellent for family for kids as you can put the kids to sleep and play cards or hang out in the leaving room would recommend this place for sure. And it was quiet

It was a family vacation, 5 days, since we got in the elevator the smell of weed was all around, the 5 days every time all the day that smell of weed was there, is nasty and strong my head was hurting all the time, i don't recommend this hotel, i will not coming back again.

Well i never made it to the hotel because of the nationwide issue with the airlines.Called the hotel and Hotels.com and told them we were not going to make it.The hotel rudely denied our refund and showed zero understanding for our situation.For this reason neither myself or my entire family will ever stay with this hotel chain again.

Our initial stay was comfortable at Comfort Suites and the suite was immaculate. Unfortunately, the last few days of our stay was not at all pleasant. We didn’t realize we had to request our room be made up and we were there for a six day stay. What a mess! The breakfast lacked sufficient food for the completely booked hotel, the area was a complete mess and the breakfast attendant was absolutely overwhelmed. The last two nights of our stay we had a huge group take over the entry area and breakfast area and were loud, had children running and screaming until 1 am which kept us awake. Staff did nothing to stop this situation. I reached out personally to the manager, Robert, at Comfort Suites at Potomac Mills, VA. Thus far, he has not addressed our concerns. We paid for our room just as that large group did. That kind of disturbance is not acceptable! Comfort Suites needs to do better and their manager, Robert, needs to be much more proactive. What a disappointment!

Basing this review on our arrival. The first room they sent us to, the AC unit was so loud there's no way anyone could sleep in that room. We went to the front desk, and they gave us another room. That room was at 80 degrees, and after 1/2 hour with the thermostat turned down to 60, the room temperature was 79. This was the hottest day of the year, BUT I would expect better. The hotel is 5 stories, with an atrium and skylights; the central area is quite warm! Front desk sent us to a 3rd room; this room was very cool, and very quiet. The stay was uneventful after this, other than kids in the pool area being noisy until past midnight both nights.

Very cringe experience. A guest OD and died in room 501. And I was in the same floor on a family trip. Not the comfort I was looking for and I hope I can get a reimbursement for the inconvenience and trauma it caused me

When we arrived in our room there were crunched up potato chips on the floor of the living room area of the suite so the place wasnt vacuumed thoroughly. I didnt notice until the morning that I left that the bed cover was dirty and/or stained on the underside that i hadnt previously seen. There were kids in the room above us jumping and running around at 12:30 a.m. this morning and kids and people being loud at 11 and 12 pm last night in the main/lobby area. Clearly the desk staff never told them to be quiet because people might be trying to sleep. Finally, we reported multiple times that the thermostat in our room wither wasnt working properly or something was broken becauae we had it on cool and 68 and it was a balmy 75. It was awful trying to sleep. We notified at least 3 staff members with the promise maintenance would check it out and fix it but nothing ever happened. When we checked out this morning the girl at the desk looked like she just rolled out of bed and never even spoke to us. So rude. I won't be staying here again.

The staff here was so lovely and kind. Everything was immaculate. Very quiet and family friendly. Pool was warm. Perfect depth for my kids. Only thing I wish was different is the bottom of the pool is very rough surface and scratched my feet up a couple times.

We stayed here for our family trip! We have no complaints the room was nice and my kids loved the pool! Staff were super friendly!
