The Inn at Wise

We stayed here while in town for a family reunion and will definitely stay here again. Quiet, friendly staff, extremely clean and the room that is connected to the upstairs balcony was perfect for family card games or just hanging out.

I love staying at the Inn at Wise. Staff are friendly and helpful. The location is perfect for families visiting students at UVA Wise.

I absolutely love staying at the Inn in Wise, VA, each year when I visit family & friends. The shower, towels, beds & pillows are all fabulous! I appreciate the mid-size mini fridge and mirowave. The only thing I would change is to have a higher quality brand for the rolls of bathroom tissue. The staff so friendly, too!

The property is convenient for UVA Wise but the breakfast is not that great. There is no bread, no eggs etc. It was very limited and not good for considering a decent breakfast before we go to UVA Wise for dropping my kid

We stay here every time we visit family. Clean rooms Friendly staff, convenient for any shopping or sight seeing.

My daughter and I had driven up to meet up with family who was traveling in the area so I booked us all a suite at the Inn. Even though the suite had 3 beds (a king, a queen and a foldout sofa which made a double bed), it was quite roomy with six of us in it. Having two TVs was great because the kids could watch one while the grownups got the other. It's an older inn (built in 1910), but it's been renovated so it's nice without losing the charm. There are historic photographs in all the halls. Everywhere we looked was very clean. We dropped a glass jar in the parking garage and staff was quick to clean it up as soon as we told them. Everyone we dealt with on the staff was courteous and friendly. Rooms are well-insulated from noise. We didn't hear anyone in the hall or neighboring rooms. Even though our room faced Main Street, there was no traffic noise. I didn't go down for breakfast, but some other family members did. There was cereal, wrapped pastries and a waffle-maker. My daughter said it was the best waffle she'd ever had. The hotel is conveniently located. There are several restaurants within walking distance. We had dinner at the nearby El Dorado Grill. It was tasty and surprisingly inexpensive. If I'm ever in the area again, I will definitely be booking here.
