Lobby was clean.
The rooms buffered noise from the hallway as a middle school band was visiting from out of town. The noise from the kids did not disturb my sleep.

Not a nice hotel inside your room. It was very old.. the carpet was ripped up at the walkway of the room. The toilet holder was hanging off in the restroom. Nobody came and took out our trash. They did not have any kind of slipped material in the bathtub. I’m in very good shape person and I slept in the tub flew out and landed on my back. I am lucky that getting wrapped around in the shower curtain saved me and probably my life. I yank the shower liner off when I fell. Luckily, I did not break my arm, Hope shoulder or anybody part. After that, for the next three days, I placed a hand towel in the bottom of the bathtub. I reported all of this to the staff they didn’t start paying attention until I told them about my fall. Also no hand soap in the shower. The maintenance guy did come by and do the repair in put hand soap in our shower area. Next time I will be picking a different hotel in the area when I visit my family every year. Hotel looks beautiful on the outside in the lobby. Nothing else I can say good about it.

The rooms are outdated, dirty carpet, vent in the bathroom above the tub was horribly gross (extremely dirty, looks like it hasn't been cleaned in years), and there was hair in the tub which indicates it had not been cleaned prior to my check in. My family and I all agreed that it was going to be our last stay in this hotel!

I was very satisfied with my stay here. I went with my little ones, so the hotel was friendly and clean. Thoroughly satisfied.

Only provided 2 bath towel/cloths for 4 people (2 adults, 2 children); and when requested for more, was denied. The Keurig machine didn't work, a few electrical outlets were not working properly, the shower head in the bathroom was spitting water from everywhere, even the bath faucet spewed water towards the wall. There was a bug on the wall we first arrived, and that was unpleased to see to say the least. And we could not receive an extra blanket/comforter for one bed, in a double room!

Our family stayed one night at this hotel for a convention. Because we were at the convention for the majority of the day, we did not get to enjoy the hotel much. We did like how clean the hotel was; the friendly staff; and the fact that our four-legged family was welcomed. The only semi criticism would be that they told us they could accommodate us for an earlier time, but when we arrived at the hotel they needed 45 more minutes to clean. Super appreciative of the early check-in time and the fact that they didn't skimp on the cleaning just because we were there, but next time we would like to be told the room is ready when it is actually ready.

I stayed here from 03/01/21 through 03/12/21.
During my stay, the staff refused to send housekeeping to the room. The only two times they came they took all of my towels, did NOT leave new ones, and even though I left a tip with a note asking for k cups- they left none.
I had to go downstairs to the front desk to ask for these supplies each time I needed them. Retrieving (literally, not kidding here) garbage bags full of supplies that should have been stocked in the room was horribly disappointing. When I ordered midnight door dash- they refused to let my delivery upstairs and they took my food. They made me come downstairs to get it. (Really? They could have just called up to check instead of making me come to their front desk, just more of the rudeness.)
Then, their worst behavior: two nights before my check out, my credit card company starts blowing me up at midnight because the hotel started charging my credit card exorbitant amounts of money. (My room was already paid.) the hotel claims that they “accidentally” charged my card $416.60 $416.60 $75.75 . Here is the thing: I used my debit card to pay for the room. For this hotel to charge the card I had on file with Expedia, they would have had to dig through my account to find that information. If there had been any problem or issue with payment for my room- I was still In The Hotel so it would have been easy to ring my room. They were already paid and the bottom line is that they engaged in fraud.

This hotel experience was excellent. It was a great strategic location for day trips to both Buckroe and Yorktown beaches. Very modern, professional staff, inside pool (great when raining or evening swims), nice restaurant (coupons for free meals for kids a plus). Would definitely stay here again...…..Granny with two small grandkids under eight.
