Hotel is on the older side and could use some renovations. However, it was very clean and smelled nice. Unfortunately the staff was extremely loud from 11pm - 6am. I was room #115 and I could hear everything: elevators, people checking in, staff conversations about someone being shot in the back, mistresses, and family drama. To say the least, I got very little rest.

We stayed here for the weekend of 3/8/24 to 3/10/24. We had booked a room at another hotel in Newport News and was very much disappointed. At around 11:30 on 3/8/24 I went back on the Hotels.com app and booked a room at this hotel. I was happy to have moved my stay to this location. The staff and Manager were all so welcoming and friendly. The room was clean and neat. The carpets were clean as well as the bathroom area. During our stay we enjoyed the free breakfast and thought everything was delicious. We have family that lives in Newport News and will be returning here on future visits.

Very pleasant and very helpful staff. Property was clean and that’s an understatement. Would recommend for anyone to stay with family or without. Extremely satisfied and the price was very very very reasonable. A all the way around.

We came from Frederick, Md to watch a college football game ( friend’s child) very pleased how close we are to the stadium, mall, looks of good choices. The hotel staff were all friendly and helpful. Room is clean!! Nothing fancy, clean and efficient.

I loved my stay very much and so did my kids. It was a great location to Busch Gardens and Water Country. The customer service was amazing! Everyone so welcoming. The hallways had a great smell and clean. The rooms were comfy and clean as well. Beds were great and slept well!

This was an exceptionally nice Comfort Inn. Staff was cheerful and nice, room clean, breakfast fantastic. Lobby was perfect to gather with a few family in the area with us; so nice to be able to do. Really enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

I have to say that this experience was 1 I will never forget. My 10 and 15 yr old children and I went to VS to visit my oldest son. The staff was nothing short of amazing! The freetings the smiles the friendliness, genuinely kind. BeforeI left, while dropping off my keys, I shared this with the woman at checkout and I told her as a woman who has battled with some mental health and trauma over the years (as tearing up) that this exercise touched me because you never ever know what a person may be going through and that smile or good morning or greeting and kind genuineness may have saved a life! We will definitely stay here every visit without hesitation. Thank thank you so very much for making my chilren and I feel so welcome even during such a very busy time.
