Red Roof Inn Hillsville

The staff was extremely friendly and the location was convenient for a stop during our road trip. The room was not the cleanest. Unfortunately my family and I all had but marks on our bodies the next day.

Nice that they don't charge for pets but the room had an odd odor that I couldn't pinpoint. The bed was terrible. Creaked loudly and was lumpy like the springs were broken. There is also a marihuana dispensary attached to the hotel. Probably not the best place for children.

Upon arrival the staff was friendly but check in was slow.. The front lobby, ,however clean, was a poor use of space and very uninviting. The area in which we accessed our hotel room was confusing and looked like a service entry door. The room smelt fresh and appeared clean when entering. The beds were very comfortable. The AC unit worked well and kept the room very comfortable. The bathroom upon entry was clean and had the basics but there were not nearly enough towels for our family that was checked in. The floor was dirty when we wiped up excess water on the bathroom floor. Check out was quick. There was an odd bucket of dingy hand towels at the service desk with a hand written note. If you need towels, then front service should hand then out IMO. There were beverages and limited breakfast items to eat in the morning but because VERY limited space to sit down and enjoy them. Overall, for the price and general cleanliness/comfort I would stay here again.

Although a bit dated this place was very clean and that is the most important to me. The breakfast was a bit lacking for my kids but I knew that when I was booking it. The price was right for what we needed it for. Staff was extremely friendly. Would stay here again!

One of the nicest rooms I have ever stayed in at a hotel. I have family who lives locally and I will stay here anytime I visit. I have stayed at some other locations in the area and this one beats the others. The quality for the price is outstanding. Breakfast is small but there are plenty of places to go for breakfast in the area if that's your thing. Location is safe, quiet, clean, and the customer service is awesome!

Rooms were clean with comfortable beds nice bathroom. Had pizza delivered from pizza on main it was great. Lived that the hotel felt safe didn't worry about are vehicle or that the kids waned to set by the creek. This was a great place. Breakfast is just simple and that was fine. Would stay here again.
