This is a new hotel: clean trendy, eco friendly. The room was small. Big enough for a king size bed, but enough space for one person to walk around it. So for those with a baby - it's not enough room to set up a basinet. I heard alarms at 6am from other rooms, as well as the semi trucks from outside. Very basic breakfast. Overall, we just needed to spend the night and get back on the road. It was good and the price was right.

Check-in staff was very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was an added perk with amazing make your own pancakes and all the topping for kids to be happy! Cleaning staff as well were all friendly. I would 100% stay here again when traveling to JMU for any events or just to visit my student!

Room was not the cleanest, partly to decor partly wood floors looked like then needed a steam bath. Tube drained very slowly. Almost had to do Navy shower. Wet down, turn water off, soap up and then turn water on to rinse. No control of kids running the hall ways at night. Trash in hallways - probably from kids running around.

$200 Room and the sink in the bathroom was broken and un usable. Leaked under the sink throughout the whole bathroom. Staff gave us towels to clean the water!! Breakfast ends at 9AM!! Not even a courtesy of a credit. Traveling with kids made difficult ty!!

Overall the hotel was nice and staff was friendly, but a couple of issues: 1. I requested a microwave and they said they’d provide it. I reminded them twice but never received it so had to go to the lobby multiple times to reheat food for my kids. 2. The TV kept turning off by itself after a few minutes and I mentioned this to them they gave a couple of diagnostic suggestions but they didn’t work. So we weren’t able to enjoy the TV our entire 3 days and nights. 3. The blackout blinds kept rubbing and getting stuck on the track. I think either the blinds or track were installed incorrectly. We had to open and close them each evening and morning and one of us has to make sure the blinds didn’t get stuck on the track; this was especially annoying.
