Courtyard by Marriott Richmond North

I booked this property because they have an indoor pool. Upon arrival and check in I asked about the pool hours and was told the pool was closed for maintenance/repairs. I said this wasn’t disclosed during booking nor was it updated on their website. The woman shrugged and said oh well it just happened a few days ago. This is something that needs to be disclosed and updated and by looking at the state of the pool this was not a new thing. It seemed to have been this way and had I known I would’ve found another hotel with a working pool as my children were looking forward to swimming. The stay otherwise was very nice and everything was clean. I’d stay at this chain of hotels again they could do better with keeping the information updated.

What an excellent hotel! It is in a wonderful location and all the amenities were perfect for our family trip. We came showing livestock at the State Fair and needed a place close by. The food items in the area coupled with the amazing service at the hotel made our trip one to remember. The pool and hot tub are perfect and the beds slept wonderfully. We will definitely be back!

We wanted to spend a night away from home with the family and this place was the absolute best. It was a last minute decision however well worth it. I will definitely be back. The kids loved the indoor pool. The room was more than expected for a last minute trip.
