Embassy Suites by Hilton Richmond

Staff was friendly enough but everything else was absolutely terrible. Rooms were dirty and falling apart, bathroom was not stocked- had no toilet paper or shampoo/conditioner. Despite the room being empty all afternoon, our rooms were never cleaned or restocked. Hot and Cold water on the shower was backwards and easy to scale yourself. Had my children tried adjusting the temp without prior warning from me, they could have seriously injured themselves. Air conditioner did not work in the entire building, our room was over 80 degrees the entire stay. Three of four elevators did not work so getting from the top floor to ground floor took forever. It really just seems that this place is slowly falling apart and in serious need of repair and better management.

Wandamarie was absolutely outstanding and made us feel like family! The hotel was wonderful and so accommodating! We absolutely loved our stay! Before arriving, Maria was also very lovely in helping us with the possibility of booking another room (but we ended up not needing it).

Great room space and section for the kids, plus balcony, all the staff are friendly and if you need anything ready to help!

The A/C wasn’t cooling enough and it made a lot of noise. The pool was out of order, so my kids were very disappointed.

The check in Lady in the front was very friendly, and all staff. They make you feel like your at home and the breakfeast omlets were cook and season to perfection! My family loves the breakfest buffy and how they didnt have to clean up but the staff came and took the old plates away!

This would be my family’s second time staying at the embassy suites. And this time was not that good. The front desk staff were great however the ceiling air conditioner was leaking pretty bad at check in and check out. I had 3 different maintenance/ engineers come and try to fix it which was like putting a band aid on the problem. There was water on the floor from Friday June 14 when I checked in until today when I check out. My only question was why let me check in this room knowing the air conditioner was leaking with mold on the ceiling. The breakfast was good and shower water was hot but we could not fully utilize the living room due to the leaking air conditioner. Please do not give rooms to people with leaking air conditioner units.

Amazing place to stay with the family

The hotel is a beautiful place but the fact that there’s major maintenance going on was an issue. There only two family rooms so switching wasn’t an option and once I realized carpet was soaking wet that was an issue for me. Then to come back to my room with a puddle on the floor. The heating didn’t work so once my room got to cold I couldn’t balance it out. I appreciate the work they did do to compensate for the issues. Would I visit again yes once the maintenance is done.

Everything was ok, except for the kids running through the hallway making a lot of noises. Can’t believe parents let their kids stay up that late

My family and I enjoyed our stay but it would be great if they disclose the property hold on Expedia. Was not expensive but still left out Definitely will return
