Hampton Inn Fairfax City

I was a little frustrated because the rooms O booked were not what I had asked for, Yet the rooms over all were clean, quiet, and comfortable. The front desk staff were very patient and understanding with my elderly uncle and aunt, and my dad when they were grumpy from the long trip they endured to get there. Would have been nice if they offered water to the three elderly people yet check in ended up alright. Breakfast was fine from what I could see my family eating. My nerves were shot so I did not eat breakfast. The facility was clean. They had people fixing the front entrance because, so a boom lift and so on were where one had to walk in. Overall, they stay was good and if I was to go back there, I would stay there again.

Our stay was great! The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the area when we had questions. My kiddo and I went to tour GMU. The hotel is about 5 minutes away from campus. Very clean, the beds were comfy and the breakfast was great!

Solid economy spot if you’re in the DC/Fairfax area for a short visit. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Room was clean and nicely appointed. A little wary of noisy neighbors: I had a couple or family staying next to me who were loud talkers and I could hear almost everything they said. They also came and went a lot so the door was always opening and closing. I don’t know if it’s because our rooms had a connecting doorway that allowed for amplification of sound, or what. It didn’t keep me up at night, so there was no need to move. One other thing I’ve noticed elsewhere: why are Hampton Inn elevators so slow? Overall, It was worth the price and I do think Hampton Inns are a good value for budget-conscious travelers.

I was in town for a family funeral Location was perfect. Rooms were remodled and very clean. Loved how the King toom had a couch with its own side table which made for a more homey qed experience. Breakfast was a great selection.. would stay here again.
