Hilton Springfield

My kids were disappointed that the pool was closed and on our last day the water was shutoff with no notice which was pretty inexcusable in my opinion otherwise was a decent place to stay

My family and I stayed here while we visited my brother in the area. Being a Hilton I had expectations for a satisfying experience. The staff there was very friendly, especially the gentleman at the front desk who wound up bringing me towels and things when no one else did after I had asked for them. The shower vent is visibly filthy, and when I asked for extra pillows, there was only two Maxximum. When they brought the pillows, they smelled as if they had taken them from someone else's room and given the right to me. Unacceptable. As mentioned prior, we asked for the room to be freshened, replacing towels, and making the bed and taking out the trash one day at 9 AM. At 9 PM when we returned, none of that had been done. Somebody came to take the trashes, but instead of emptying them, they left them outside of our room in the hallway, so not only did we not have a trashcan, but our trash was sitting in the hallway, instead of being taken care of. They gave me towels, but nothing else. Overall for it being a Hilton property, I was unimpressed. I also did not like that the pool was not working and it sounded like they had no intention of fixing it anytime soon.

Very nice hotel. Would recommend they upgrade the bathroom. The toilet was very low and meant for children not adults.

We stood at the Hilton Springfield for three nights family trip for a memorial. The front staff are very helpful very friendly and knowledgeable. The rooms are very clean one of the most comfortable mattress ever I did not want to leave the room just because the mattress was so fantastic. The furniture is a little dated the bathrooms are clean also a little dated there are no microwaves so if you're hoping for a microwave you go downstairs and use the microwave in the lobby. There is an on-site restaurant with a very awesome chef by the name of Anthony best Thai Chili Wings ever. Also a great bartender and waiter his name is Richard treated us like royalty if you do stop by please do say hi to Richard at the bar and Anthony the chef big shout out to them. One of the best things about staying at the Springfield is that the mall is right across the street anything you need is right across the street movie theater restaurants shopping. Very convenient right off the highway this is my go to when I'm in Springfield Virginia

The pool apparently has been closed for months, but the property listing doesn't state this. I have little kids and we were all disappointed in discovering this upon check-in. I would have chosen another property if I had known it had been closed. There is no daily housekeeping which was not also disclosed upon making the reservation. We requested extra towels during our stay, but they never came. I tried calling the front desk, but no answer. Finally, had to go the front desk and get towels for my family myself. Was very disappointed in our stay at this property.

Interesting stay. We called a few days before our stay to ensure we could get a kids bed. The lady from the hotel said yes absolutely. One of the reasons why we picked this hotel. They are advertised as free. So we get there and the restaurant and bar is only for breakfast. $15 a person for a buffet. And guess what? We were given a kids bed for our son. It was a mess! They said it was a fire hazard and not allowed in our room. The only thing they said was they would help us find another hotel. Such BS. Poor customer service. Bad marketing. I’m shocked this was a Hilton.
