There was a child above me that was running and jumping throughout the night. I called the front desk at 11:30pm and they didn’t seem interested that I was calling to complain. The child continued despite my complaint. When I went to leave the next morning I went to the elevators which apparently weren’t working. I had to carry my suitcase and belongings down the stairs for four flights. The staff didn’t offer any apologies for any of the inconveniences. I will not stay here again.

I booked this hotel by hotel.com for a room with two queen beds and my service dog. when I got to the hotel at 11 pm the hotel gave me a suitable room with one king bed open to the bed. I explained to the shift manager that we were 3 adults and a kid 17 years old. and need two beds. She was so rude and told me to take the room with her. Cancel my reservation. Also, she told me that I didn't tell her we have a pet. I explained to her that, was not a pet and that I had all the certifications for service dogs. in the end, she cancels my reservation. We book a new hotel in a better place. Also, be aware this hotel charged an extra $130 I didn't understand what was that. I travel a lot to this area but never booked this hotel again with two queen beds and my service dog. when I got to the hotel at 11 pm the hotel gave me a suitable room with one king bed open to the bed. I decided to give it a shot because the reviews were good and I needed a pit stop for a road trip with the fam. I hate to complain but I would not at all recommend the establishment. Here my reasons: - Lobby is small, dingy and despite the signs it smells like an ashtray. - Front desk attendant looks depressed like she hates her job. - The elevators are filthy, in poor condition and smelly. - The room is alright but kind of silly (and dingy). I got a “suite” thinking I would order Uber Eats for the family but there was no table. Both the tile floor and carpeting have many stains. Beds were alright. - Bathroom didn’t feel clean (we skipped showers to avoid fungus), toilet seat broken, forget “clean-seal”. Toilet paper roll was almost finished and holder was broken. I guess a clean roll is too much. - Several patrons were plain trashy. The best was a guy cursing and screaming at his phone in the lobby and elevators. He brought the fight on my floor screaming profanities at a woman staying down the hall. Nice entertainment for my 7yo twins. -Breakfast. Omg. It’s like a jail cafeteria. No tables available, and super dirty. Gross food and coffee smells bad. Attendant looks like a homeless guy asking for change. Looks so filthy and handles garbage and food items continuously without washing his hands. Why?? And I don’t want to sound like a dick but people who work in service should have a certain composure. Anyways. Not recommended.

As soon as I open the door the smell was horrible, my kids were complaining. The floor carpet stinks and dirty, even the bathroom door has a moldy….

The two adjoining rooms we had with two queen beds each, for us and our five grandchildren, were excellent. We are tidy people who appreciated the renovated rooms that had great beds, nice bedding, clean bathrooms, and quality towels. The housekeeping service in our rooms over 3 days was super. Regarding the breakfast, the lack of staff in the breakfast room to clean the tables and the dirty floor, and to replenish the supplies - cutlery, milk, muffins, etc - as well as the hot foods, was a negative for our stay. It seemed as though one very hardworking person was responsible for the entire breakfast procedure. The uncleanliness and food scarcity made breakfast time not too appealing, but we managed. I tried to clean tables for us each time and helped the family gather sufficient foods to fill them adequately each morning. Choice Hotels needs more personnel on their breakfast shift.

Location was great for family trip to DC, close to Van Dorn Metro and DC. Service was very friendly, breakfast ran low on bread and milk. The room was great, the bed was a bit too firm but not unmanageable, but the real negative was my room obviously had a smoker in it prior to my arrival and the smell of smoke permeated all our clothes and hair. The front desk made a note and apologized, but the smell was not able to be resolved.

The room was fine. No luggage service. We had to bring our own luggage with the cart.. The pandemic is over No excuse. When we ate breakfast the guy in the kitchen had a radio playing rap music using the F word over and over while families and children were eating

The staff were very friendly and helpful, but 2 evenings there were teenagers and kids talking and playing in the hallways. Also, on 2 occasions as we were walking to our rooms, the smell of horrible pot smoke was in the lobby and hallways.

Visiting our daughter for a pre wedding get together of families. The hotel was surprisingly good. The property was well maintained and clean. We would stay there again for sure.

First time ever in D.C. I looked at all the reviews and was trying to find an affordable yet comfortable place for my family to stay. I had heard some horror stories of certain parts of town and so I decided to go to a suburb outside of the D.C. Area. I have used Comfort Inn before for business and was hoping the suite were similar sized for a party of 3. They definitely lived up to the expectations. Spacious clean rooms. Complimentary Hot Buffett breakfast daily, two bathrooms in the suite, free parking and shuttle service to Metro. We had an excellent time and would highly recommend.
