Hampton Suites Exmore Eastern Shore

We did a day trip to Cape Charles and decided to come the evening before. The front desk staff was extremely helpful and pleasing to work with, and our check in was so smooth! The room cleanliness was okay minus a dirty spot on the fitted sheet on the side of one bed, sticky floors, and it looked like the bottom of the toilet seat hadn’t been cleaned well. The pool was super nice and our little ones had a good time. I would return!

Wonderful Staff! Dana, the receptionist, was so accommodating to my family during our stay. The staff was so friendly and caring.

Spacious room, with enough lighting. Bathroom was also big and with all the amenities. Cleanliness was top notch and it was in quiet ambience to let you sleep peacefully. Our family enjoyed our stay here.

On Checking in the front desk attendant booked us in a room which was on a floor with ongoing renovation work. Painting and caulking. The fumes were not welcoming particularly to my family which included a four year old daughter. When I tested the toilet it had poor flushing. The toilet bowl looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months. We immediately tried to get another room and attendant booked us in another room directly opposite the problem room. We decided that that room too was not going to work either, due to the fumes. We were rebooked to a room on the 3rd floor, without a microwave ore mini fridge. Got tired of complaining and resigned to stay with that room. Toilet pressure flushing was inadequate. The water smelt stale. More like ocean water ownwell water that had not been filtered. It had a funny odor. eimming pool was unclean considering we visited in mid summer and it was out of commission.

Average hotel that needs room updates. Stayed in a family suite. I thought the furniture was out-dated and not very comfortable. There were visible stains on the office chair, arm rests - fabric slightly torn in places. Family suite had plenty of room for 4 of us but I expected a full sofa - with 3 seats as pictured/advertised, instead it was a small love seat for two, Breakfast was good, convenient, and inlcuded. I was pleased they gave us free water bottles because the water has a very metallic smell and taste.
