Marina Bay Hotel & Suites, Ascend Hotel Collection

The hotel was easy to find, clean, and the mattresses were comfortable. This is an excellent choice for a short stay for a family and, if you spend most of your time outside of the room, a great option for a longer stay. It was a wonderful experience and I would be happy to return.

Very nice and clean place. Staff was very nice. They let us check in early. But the walls were not sound proof. The family next to us on both sides were very loud. I’m sure it would have been a pleasant stay if it wasn’t for the families next to us.

We have a permanent site at a local campground and needed a place to stay while winterizing. On a whim we chose Marina Bay and were stunned by how nice it was! The decor is absolutely fabulous. The hotel is extremely roomy and clean. We immediately messaged all of our family and friends that typically smash in our camper and told them to check this hotel out. Highly recommend!

My family had a great time. The pool was perfect and the view of the bay was beautiful. I would stay here again!

I was really disappointed. This was our second year staying at this location. While the location and people are sweet, they do not clean the rooms daily. I am a mother on a family vacation and one of the things for me I enjoy is not having to take out my own trash and clean up on vacation. We have to put our own trash out, get our own towels each day and take care of that. When you are going to the beach, having them take care of sand in the floor and towels is a luxury that I am paying for while on vacation. If I had known before booking, I would have booked elsewhere.

Location was great and it was super easy to find. Even though I got there after 10:00, the staff was cordial and explained everything to me. Bfst was good and I slept like a baby in the very comfortable bed. My only (slight) criticism is that the carpet in the halls and room could use a good cleaning. However, the cleanliness of the room itself was very good-kudos to the staff!

Very nice place to stay and my family are repeat customers. We traveled during the off season for the hotel and for some reason were given a handicap room when there might have been 8 other guests on the property and other rooms would have been available. The shower had no edges due to being handicap capable. This was very frustrating with 2 children under the age of 4 and the entire bathroom floor being soaked after shower use. I think some more care could have been given when assigning rooms. We would stay again though.

We gave the hotel only 3 starts because we booked a King Size Bed suite with Mariana view and it did not look like the pictures. In the site, they show this room as having a separate living room with a sofa when in fact the suite they gave us had the sofa right next to our bed (in the site this is portrayed as the King Suite Bay view and not Marian view). They also say there is a balcony but show no pictures. We were disappointed with the balcony as there is zero privacy; it is like you are sitting with your neighbors. Our suite was also facing the pool which is very noisy. It is not a really good place to relax. On the other hand, if you have kids you might like this hotel and pool as there are dozens of kids all day at the pool until 9 pm. Although the bed was good and room clean, for this price, I think we can get better next time.

Everything about our stay met or exceeded expectations. The staff was friendly, and all areas of the hotel were kept clean. The room was spacious and clean. Most notably, the temperature controls on the wall worked perfectly and kept the room at the desired temperature. Breakfast was outstanding. There was plenty of seating for couples and families. There was a good variety of food, and the hot items were prepared well. Definitely recommend this hotel.
