Hyatt Centric Arlington

We have stayed at this hotel three times already and will continue to come back. The location is perfect, Arlington is a great city and it is a short walk from Georgetown. There are also buses that will take you around DC. Most importantly the friendly staff here truly make you feel part of the Hyatt family. Special shoutout to Beto at the front desk who helped us through booking issues and made our stay unforgettable. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a hotel in the Arlington/DC area.

Great experience with our family. Location is convenient to Metro and food options. Quiet, walkable neighborhood. Have stayed there multiple times and will go back.

I researched many hotels in the DC area. This hotel had many excellent reviews. It met our expectations to the fullest. We were a family of 4 (2 teens). We were a bit reluctant when we found our room was located right next to an elevator, however, it was a great location. I think it ended up being a corner room (we reserved a double queen room). It was so spacious for us and extremely clean. The bathroom could use some fixing (faucet leaked out sides and shower could use a watergaurd on the floor) but I am not going to lower my 5 star rating because of it. I didn't realize Hyatt's housekeeping policy is you need to request your room to be made up daily. I also won't lower the rating for that. I booked our stay with complimentary breakfast and it was phenomenal every morning. So clean and quiet with a huge variety of food offerings. The staff at breakfast was phenomenal as well and always greeting us with smiles daily. The location is perfect with so many great take out or eat in options (highly recommend Wise Guys Pizza and Taco Rock) as well as the convenience of a Target directly across the street. The metro station was a 2-minute walk down the street. Highly recommend this hotel and we will definitely be back.

There was a computer glitch in the number of kids Because of it, we were forced to pay for breakfasts. I could understand that if these were adults, but kids are part of a family. If the computer did not screw up, I wouldn’t have paid I was also under the impression this Hyatt had a pool. The kids were disappointed. We asked for new towels and only received them one day. Other than that, everything was fine.

My family and I stayed at the Hyatt Centric for a total of 5 nights, and we couldn't have been more pleased. We opted for the free continental breakfast, and it was extremely delicious, especially the mini filled muffins, waffles, and fresh fruit. Our room was very spacious, and we loved the huge window overlooking the city below. The location was extremely convenient since we were very close to a main Metro hub that led us into D.C. Plus there was off-site parking that very close to the hotel which was less costly than the valet. The staff at the front desk as well as at breakfast were always very attentive and accommodating. I would definitely book again if we ever found ourselves in the area again!

My family and friends enjoyed their stay at this property. The rooms are very nice, the breakfast is great. Customer service is awesome!! All the staff I encountered were awesome!! They made sure we were happy, and everything was to our satisfaction. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

Not relaxing stay during vacation. Arrived 30 minutes after checkin. Room not ready, was told they’d text when room had been cleaned. An hour later, no text. Approached front desk and discovered they’d given our room to another family. Waited some more. Manager apologized and promised to comp our parking. Got to room before 6p. Phone rings next morning for a 6a wake-up call we did not request. Ugh. Reviewed bill at checkout only to find a parking charge. Waited to leave until they removed it.

My husband and I sometimes visit DC because we have family in the area. We used to stay inside DC itself, but this is our 2nd time staying at this Arlington location. We like this hotel because it is close to the Rosslyn metro stop, which makes traveling to DC very convenient and affordable. We like our room, which is clean and comfortable. I haven't needed to ask staff for anything but whenever I check in or check out, everyone has been very friendly and helpful. The area is quiet during the evening/weekends, which is a plus for us. The only thing that annoys me (only a little bit) is the parking. The hotel only offers one parking option, which I find somewhat expensive considering we pretty much park and then use the Metro for most of our trip.
