You can do better. This was a family trip so we called in the morning of our check in and asked for adjoining rooms. While we were told we were "all set" this was set at check in. Each of our rooms had structural issues which the hotel could remedy if we changed rooms that were not connected. We choose to stay put. The issues were annoying. I've stayed at many Hilton properties and they can do better.

Convenient location visiting daughter in Arlington. Nice hotel. Electric in room worked only in the bathroom. Had to make 2 calls over 8 hrs to rectify. One outlet in the room was missing cover. Not very safe for small children.

In town for a funeral at Arlington and stayed a few extra days to see the sights. Reserved two rooms, each room with two queen beds for a group of six. Check in was smooth, got to our rooms and both rooms only had one bed. If the rooms had had a couch with a pull out we could’ve made it work. Back down to the front desk where we were put in rooms with two queens, Cynthia was very helpful. One room was ok-bathroom not entirely clean, comforters had black stains. The other room-every tile on the bathroom floor was loose and the electrical for the heater/ac was in a mess of wires beneath the unit. Maintenance came in and put it in working condition, but there were still wires not put back where they should be. With the condition of the bathroom floor in that room (305) it should have never been open for occupancy. It was obvious the bathroom had severe water damage at one point. We debated asking for another room but the family staying in that room just wanted to go to bed. Breakfast buffet was 17.99 a person so we opted not to partake. Another couple in our group tried it one morning and said it wasn’t worth the price. The hotel is a short walk to the Courthouse metro station. There’s also a CVS and a few restaurants within a short walk as well. We placed a Walmart delivery order (the delivery fee was 9.95) and got a few breakfast items, snacks and a case of water, an option if you want to get a few things for your stay.

It is the perfect place to stay in Washington D.C. either traveling alone or with one’s family. The Court House station is just a few steps from the Hotel, so it’s easy to get to the sights in downtown. I would definitely stay in Hilton Garden Inn again.

Hotel worked out perfectly for our trip. Really easy walk to the metro and a good bagel shop for breakfast, easy drive to our family events we came for, and even a short walk to a really unique, shady playground for the kids. Check out Rocky Run Park if you have playground age kids who need to get energy out. Beds were comfortable, everything worked, quiet enough. Breakfast wasn't very good, but there are plenty of restaurants nearby. The farmers market right around the corner was very nice on Saturday morning too.

Everything was good, they gave us a clean baby pack and play and allowed to stay with a dog. Staff is friendly and allowed us to check in earlier which was very convenient with a baby
