The rooms should not be sold as sleeps 4 people because the sofa bed is extremely uncomfortable and could barely fit 2 kids. The king size bed was also extremely small for a king bed. We did not get much rest on our trip.

Room is decent and met our needs. Kitchenette is great. Had to ask for replacement for toilet paper, soap, dishwasher detergent, etc multiple times. Staff was very friendly during all interactions. Shuttle service was great but rarely available. I suggest that the rooms should be better stocked if housekeeping is only coming every 3rd day. All in all, I would stay here again and would recommend to others, especially families.

I wanted to visit DC with my family and chose this hotel because of the low prices. The hotel is great; the rooms were clean and spacious, and the breakfast had a variety of options. However, it is a little too far from the DC area - it takes about 30-40 minutes by subway to reach the tourist places in DC. So, this is a great place if you are visiting Alexandria, but not so much if you are planning to visit DC and are short on time.

The property description listed free parking. My receipt has it charged, then removed, and in the end; added again. A $35 upcharge that was originally included. The rooms were what is expected from the Residence family of properties. Please don’t fall for the ‘free parking’ - choose another property.

We are very happy with our stay with this property, the property was clean the staff were very polite and professional, the only thing that could have been better that the second day of our stay our shower didn’t work properly it was running only hot water, we notified the receptionist at the front desk she told us that engineers will come to fix it however that person never came that day but she was very accommodating and offered us another room without the extra charges but because we had two rooms in the same floor and we preferred to stay in this room even though the shower was not working because we could’ve use the shower in our other room. (However they were kind enough to offer another room) I will definitely recommend this property to my friends and families.

Convenient location. Room was quiet and comfortable. Hectic lobby area, not due to hotel staff but other customers letting children run around without supervision. Staff was friendly.
