The staff was very helpful with our mini family reunion. We rented one the event rooms for our mini family reunion dinner. The guest room was spacious and clean. They had a very good complementary breakfast. And gave free drink tickets to their bar. The hotel is right across the street from the bus and train station making it very convenient.

This property is older and has some wear and tear, but it’s a GREAT location for getting into the city. It is right by a metro stop, and there’s also a cute free trolley that will take you into Alexandria for dining and shopping. Diamond at the front desk is so welcoming and helpful - the perfect person to greet people as they arrive. The breakfast options are top notch and our whole family loved the happy hour in the afternoons with free beer, cocktails, soda & snacks. Our one complaint was that there’s no vent in the bathroom, so condensation collected on the ceiling during showers and would drip. Still, we would stay there again based on all the great things about it.

This property is MUCH older than the photographs reveal. The pretty blue carpet is the only updated thing about this place. Furthermore, ON OUR 3rd night there was a 16th birthday party in the conference room off the promenade. It was so loud, lasted until 11pm and our complaints were ignored by staff. I think the best thing they have going for them is the made to order breakfast and buffet. That is a huge asset for a family of five with 3 littles. This hotel was ok but I would never stay here again.

Our room and all common spaces in the hotel were excellent -- relatively new, clean, and accommodating for our family with kids. The pool was staffed with a lifeguard and was very clean. The property was right accross from the Metro subway line, which we easily boarded for quick trips into Washington DC for tours. Staff provided friendly and excellent service.

Absolutely loved the appearance when you walk in! They had a nice evening reception with complimentary drinks and snacks. It was so nice just to sit in the atrium as family and relax. Loved that the trolly station was across the street. Great front desk staff and very informative. The room was a bit disappointing. Walked in and there was gum on the floor! We did not realize it till my husband stepped in it. Got extra towels to cover up the areas with the gum…. Front desk was going to move us but we just used the towels bc it would be more of a hassle for us. Did not like that the beds were against a wall and window…. Making it difficult for the 2nd person in bed to get in and out. Love their omelet station and they made fresh pancakes:)

Close to a metro stop, nice hotel, happy hour and breakfast included. Definitely would stay here again. The suite was great for a family of 4.

We had a great stay here with our kids for spring break and explored DC via the Metro. Super convenient, great breakfast and nicely located with the King station right across the street and great restaurant options and even a Whole Foods all close by.

The location was ideal for moving around. Candy at reception was excellent in getting us settled and welcomed us like family. She was great in pointing us in the right direction to get our trip to be a success. I would definitely visit again. Ohs d the bartender Aiden is a good lad
