One night stay was almost $300. The 2-bed room was extremely small; the rolling cart could not make it pass the door! No service with our bags! Very limited parking! No refrigerator in the room! My adult daughter sat in the lobby, waiting for a family member to come down. The woman at the desk looked them both, up and down, and asked if she could call my room. Gave the feeling that “they” were not welcome! It’s 2023, most people have already made a connection via their phone! “Perhaps my daughter was sitting there resting, waiting for someone else for a meal in the restaurant, or simply waiting until I had come down from the room. I spoke to the woman regarding the reception that my daughter received. She did not take responsibility for her actions. She stated that my daughter had “left out” statements regarding their conversation. My daughter did not leave out anything. So, obviously, the woman “knew” that the conversation was Offensive! The woman stated that she would “take off the $40-valet cost@. She did do that. She stated that she did not mean to “offend your daughter “. All said to say that we “will not” stay there again! Non-smoking room with other residents around us who chose to smoke anyway! Too expensive to have these issues!

I appreciated the excellent customer service and very nice amenities offered at the Hyatt Centric during our brief stay. While the rooms are small, my two small children, husband and I were able to rest comfortably in our room.

We arrived on a Friday afternoon, a bit earlier than check in, and ended up getting to check in early thanks to availability and Angela from the front desk being a gem and giving us the most comfortable and cozy room with a cute little view of King Street. She asked us what we were in town for and we told her it was our anniversary weekend celebration and our first weekend without a child in over 2 years. She found out that we were dining at the Chart House that evening and made it even more special for us as she also works there on the weekends. Our entire stay through Sunday was incredible. Everyone we encountered at the hotel was so kind and friendly and more than willing to give suggestions on where to shop, dine, and sightsee. The bed in our room engulfed us, it was so soft and comfortable. Everything was crisp, modern and clean. We ended up getting free valet parking through our booking and it was fast and efficient every time we needed our vehicle. Made loading and unloading an absolute breeze too. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay!
