Hotel was not what I expected given what we paid. Room was neat and clean but once again not reflective of cost. The TV in our room was not functioning ( cable not working) When I called the front desk hoping that they would be able to fix the problem from their end, I was told that they would need to send an engineer to evaluate the problem. I declined this, since my family was all sleeping and did not want to disturb them. Consequently for our stay, we had no TV service. I would have expected this to be addressed before I occupied the room. If I choose to stay at a Double Tree again,I will certainly check the TV upon my arrival.

A bit expensive for an old hotel, our room was basic, clean but had a sort of strange smell like humidity. The common areas are modern and well maintained and the staff is friendly. Major downside, the pool closes at 20:00 which is very early… if you have kids, they might be disappointed like ours were when we learned about it.

Paid 400$-500$ a night and it didnt even include breakfast… there is no elevator goodluck if you have kids and lots of stuff to carry around. Went to other hotels which were less expensive and lower quality but at least breakfast was free! Room is not jid friendly though it is clean. No vent in bathroom so rooms becomes really humid after a shower.

I bought my elderly father and step mother an overnight stay here. The general manager came out to greet them at their car and brought a cart for their luggage and helped bring their belongings in. He then gave them his card and told them to call him for anything they needed. Bed was so comfortable. They slept like babies. Thank you SO MUCH for the care you gave to my parents!

This hotel is a great option for those who are unwilling or unable to pay the sky high prices for downtown Burlington! The hotel is located very close to downtown and is a short short drive or Uber ride to all the downtown amenities. Great for families, business or those who might be checking out all the local universities!

We were visiting UVM. The hotel is close by to the school. When we were staying at the hotel there was a wedding and a lot of kids with travel soccer league. I was concerned it would be a busy night and loud. It was not at all. I would stay there again and we poor recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Burlington.

Walls were extremely thin in the rooms. Was able to hear the slightest conversation from your neighbors. Myself and two other guests in other rooms had to have a conversation with the occupants of the room directly on the side of us because of how loud and obnoxious they’re young children were being inside the room. The room I was given was fit for handicapped, which was some thing I did not ask for. So the shower was completely a different style than what was photographed. The people was at bellybutton level and our bed was lowered. I’ve stayed at other Doubletree, New Hampshire, etc. and I’ve never had this experience.

The hotel was just as pictured. The check in went well. The pool is heated and the restaurant/bar on site was great. Downside, there were lots of young kids who were there for an event, so the noise in our rooms, the constant slamming of doors, paperthin walls where you could hear kids talking as if they were in the same room left me not sleeping until about 2am when things finally went quiet.
