We came as a family to drop my son off at one of the colleges to take a course. The hotel was within walking distance to all the sites. It was clean and pleasing, had a FANTASTIC coffee set up in the morning that was even free, had a great restaurant for a quick breakfast, and a super friendly and accommodating staff. Will definitely stay there again and have recommended it to friends visiting the colleges in the area.

The HVAC in our room sounded like a freight train, so we couldn’t sleep. Pretty crazy, especially considering the room cost $392 for the night. To make up for this, they comped our $22 parking and gave us free breakfast…. Which we threw out, it was so disgusting. I can’t believe they have the balls to charge money for that. It’s the kid of breakfast that comes free with any room at Holiday Inn.

Pros: Great location & a very short walk to downtown Burlington/Church Street w/all the fun shop’s & restaurants. Also a short walk to the beautiful Lake Champlain & nearby bike path/greenway. About a 20 minute uphill walk to UVM. The hotel seems very clean/new facility. Cons: Way too expensive (total price gouge for UVM Parents Weekend; no complimentary breakfast or happy hour despite the extremely high price). The HVAC system is crazy loud (I am not kidding; So. Very. Loud. Would make a loud clunk when turning on/off. Light sleepers be ware.). There are absolutely no hooks in the room to hang stuff/clothes/gear, except for 1 hook on the interior bathroom door.

second time staying at this hotel while visiting Burlington. Location is perfect for exploring all of Burlington. Easy valet parking if you choose to use your car. The lobby of the hotel is open and bright- perfect for enjoying a cocktail with friends or family before heading out for the night. Both times we stayed on the 4th floor- room was typical Hilton room- clean and decent sized. Would definitely stay here again on our next visit.

Parking is by valet only. We left a bottle of wine in bag on back seat. We got home the next day and realized someone tried to get into the bottle. The foil wrapper was removed and found at bottom of bag. Probably the valet kid thought it was a twist off cap. However, a cork screw was need to access the bottle. I'm upset the staff would violate my things.

When I booked, I thought parking & breakfast was included. I always put those two inclusive filters in the ‘filter’ section and Hilton Gardens still came up. Staff were friendly, very clean building and we felt safe. Great location, easy to walk to local attractions; dinning, shopping, lake, etc Since our child is considering college in Burlington I’m sure we’ll be back

I booked a room for Wednesday for $305, to add a day I was charged me $486 before parking. All of the other hotels in the area that are much better, like the Hilton with the ACTUAL lake view that I paid for here (if you look past the dumpster just outside out window) or Hotel Vermont are under $300... and this hotel is listed at 259. So if you'd like to add a day, have your kids or partner book it under a different reservation or you will pay hundreds of dollars extra during a non peak time. The coffee machine in the lobby is out of order. Also, the bedding is not all cotton if that is important to you.
