Hampton Inn Salt Lake City Cottonwood UT

Well it was just a getaway for me and Mom to get away from the kids and they've got nice air conditioning it's kind of tucked away from everything else so it's nice and quiet and we always enjoy their breakfast and they have great staff Hannah is wonderful who we usually see in the mornings Brian is awesome who usually see in the evenings.

First, The location of this hotel was near the mountains in a quiet area. Local coffee place and a few other nice places to get food were within walking distance. A very nice Riverwalk just a short distance away. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. I can’t say enough about the wonderful staff. Everyone was super friendly at our initial check-in and that continued over the duration of our stay. They upgraded our room without a request. The housekeeping staff came in and made the beds and left clean towels each day . The lobby area is spacious. Breakfast was a nice plus! Because we were visiting family and trying to make the most of our stay, we asked for a late check out, and they did not hesitate to accommodate us. We will definately stay at this hotel again!

Convenient location for ski trips. However, we were staying with family (adult children), and the barn door style bathroom that didn't close all the way made in un-usable for us, so we went to another hotel. With the door slid closed, there was a 1" gap that allowed full view into the bathroom. When I asked if this was normal at the front desk, they said that it was in all the rooms. They were accommodating and allowed us to check out and go to another hotel.

Stayed here for a week for ski with family and the hotel was quite nice. Staff was friendly and helpful. Indoor pool was a treat after a day of ski. Breakfast was standard and convenient. The only downside is that the room is relatively small, especially with a lot of luggage; the hotel also seems slightly old and a remodeling would be nice, but that does not really bother us.

We had a great time staying here at the base of the Cottonwoods. It was clean, had a nice size bathroom, had enough room for my 2 kids, husband and I, and our 2 dogs. It’s great proximity to Alta, Brighton, Solitude and Snowbird. Breakfast was nice. Simple but adequate. They changed up the eggs and potatoes each day. It is also close to some great restaurants nearby for dinner. The things that could be improved (and I’m just being picky)- The hot tub was nice and steamy, and indoors, but not very big. The laundry cost $4 to wash and $4 to dry, and they’re small loads. There isn’t a lot of space for skis but they recommend bringing them inside as there are breakins in the area. We kept them in the closet in the room. Would be amazing if they had lockers. But for the price and location, this place is awesome and I highly recommend!

The walls must be very thin. We didn’t sleep much. Too many people running and laughing and yelling late into the night. Definitely won’t get a room with kids above us next time either. They were having a tap dance last into the night

Accommodations and staff were extremely helpful. We were in town for funeral services and staff went out of the way to assist families. The breakfast was great everyday and changed with great variety.

We stayed in double queen room and was enough for a family of 4. The only inconveniences were that there was not enough parking around the hotel and we had to park across the street in the parking structure and walk back to the hotel. Another weird "feature" was a single sliding door for both a bathroom and a closet. Also, we wished there were more lights in the room. Breakfast was adequate but the dining area was crowded sometimes. All in all we gad a pleasant experience from staying in the hotel.

clean, friendly, & close to family.

Great room, great staff and great service. Hot tub was nice and hot and indoor pool was just the right temperature for my kids. We stayed for 8 days and will book the same exact place again next trip. Excellent location.
