Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Salt Lake City Airport

This property needs a facelift. There are signs of age everywhere. E.g., the tile grout in the bathroom (Room 205) looks like a 4-year old child did it.

Easy access from airport, courteous staff, kids-friendly and complimentary breakfast.

Our flight was cancelled so quickly booked a hotel. It was great having a clean, reliable hotel so late. My kids loved the hot chocolate bar!

The staff was fantastic! They greeted us and helped us with an early check in. They were very friendly!The room was very clean as was the hotel. We loved that they had a ball and pool noodles for the pool. It was fun to play with the big kids in the pool with them. We would come back if we were ever in Salt Lake again.

Staff was nice, room was clean and comfortable, parking was limited - had to walk a long way using a cane. Front desk employees had pets, kids and friends hanging out which was unusual for a hotel of this nature.

The Perkins attached to this hotel is fabulous on customer service and food freshness. The pool was clean and well kept. The shuttle services to and from the airport were outstanding and deserve good tips and honorable mention. The beds and pillows were not at Marriott standards. I know because I purchased and own a Marriott bed with all the bedding that is ideal for a good night sleep. For some reason the bed and bedding was lower quality than I’m used to from Marriott. Easy fix, we’ll worth it. Again, the service was excellent and the convenience of an excellent Perkins down the hallway is great for families. If Marriott really wants to make this hotel even better, I suggest partnering with Perkins on providing the “free” breakfast and savings on lunch/dinner. I’d be willing to pay more for a room if that would be an option/package deal. Please purchase new beds and bedding from Marriott.
