Baugh Motel, SureStay Collection by Best Western

The hotel is a nostalgic reminder of a simpler time. The check in process was easy and the help was very friendly. Often times bringing along a dog complicates the stay, but there was no trouble at all. Just north of the hotel was a beautiful grassy park with a stream running through it, my family and dog loved relaxing there. Inside the rooms were clean and comfortable, but showing their age in the same way your grandmothers house feels. It didn’t bother me at all, in fact I found it very relaxing.

The A/C unit in our room didnt work, only blew warm air. We brought this up to the staff, they had a guy come back to our room to look at it. He determined that this was not eorking right so he said that he would be back with someone that could fix it or we xould move rooms if he couldnt. We never saw him again. The next day when we went to check out there was a different person, my husband inquired of this and they never had heard anything about it. They didnt have any documentation or anything regarding this. Since we booked our trip through expedia, we couldnt get a discount or anything. Our room was so hot the 2 days that we stayed there and it was very uncomfortable. Also my husband and kids were eating breakfast in the breakfast lounge and it was 925 (they stop serving breakfast at 930) and the guy over this was very rude and said in 5 mi. We are closed so ill need everyone to grab their stuff and get out.

Excellent! The customer service is unmatched! The Baugh Motel has an almost magical atmosphere with a wholesome family feel to it. We will definitely return for future visits.
