Best Western Plus Layton Park Hotel

We love this place ! It is wonderful, and we'll be staying there every time we're in Layton to visit our family in Layton

stay when we go to Utah to visit family, always great!

Mixed bag at this hotel. Staff was great, very kind and helpful and smiling. Room was good at first but it was 80 degrees and we couldn’t get it to cool off. Even with window open at 50 degrees, and can’t leave window open because the freeway is close. Then my toddler started finding things, there was an old meat stick next to the bed and a bunch of Halloween candy and wrappers on the floor. The tv was so slow it literally was not functional. Overall. 5/10. Meh

The kids really enjoyed the breakfast and pool. The adults liked those too. The only thing that we didnt like was the lack of USB plugs (petty, I know) and the bathroom layout. The toilet was low enough for a 2 year old toddler, not at all adults. We will make sure we request a handicap accessible room next time. Rooms were immaculately clean. I know it's Utah, but DUnkin DOnut coffee is not a coffee drinkers 1st choice. The tea options were great.

Staff was friendly and the rooms were clean and very spacious. The hotel is close to numerous shopping and dining options, all fairly walkable. The pool and hot tub were a plus and were clean. The daily breakfast was great as well. I stayed with younger kids and we would definitely stay here again.

Hotel has a policy age of 18 for check in on Expedia, which they are responsible for maintaining accurate information on the website. Reserved and paid for a room for our 18 year old daughter while traveling. Upon arriving, will not rent to anyone under 21. Hotel's response to their conflicting policy information on Expedia vs. what they will allow at check in was very non caring and really no interest in helping resolve the issue. Would not recommend this hotel in any circumstance and honestly our family will NEVER stay at a Best Western as a result.

One of the best breakfasts at a hotel I have ever had. Nothing fancy, just lots of options including stuff for my kid that has milk allergies such as creamer and coconut milk.

Overall I feel the room, pool and breakfast areas were pretty clean. I had to wipe up some water on the bathroom floor not long after we arrived and it was a bit dirty. And the chair in the room is old and seems unclean. The employee who checked us in wasn't overly friendly, but got the job done. But kudos to the person who cleaned our room on day 2 - the grand-kids had left stuffed animals on the bed and when we returned to the room that evening they were displayed on the chair - made us all smile and my granddaughter even took a picture. It was a wonderful gesture that made us feel special. Breakfast has a lot of variety and is good.

This is my favorite place to stay when I am in Layton its right by the mall and close to places to eat. Its clean, feel safe and my kids love the pool and breakfast.
