Holiday Inn Express Hotel Suites Lubbock Southwest-Wolfforth, an IHG Hotel

We stay here often when visiting family in Wolfforth. It’s an older property but always clean and comfortable. The breakfast is better than what most other places serve.

Everything was fine until I saw a mouse poop on the night table it was nasty and my kids were disgusted.

This is our 2nd attempt at trying to stay at this hotel. Last year they cancelled our reservation 2 hrs before we got to the hotel for a volleyball tournament and had to scramble to find another hotel last minute with ended up being more expensive then the room we had. Then this weekend we get to the hotel and they said they only had a king room for a family of 4 because they were completely booked for the weekend. Which we were here again for a volleyball tournament. So again I had to call multiple hotels to find one that had 2 queen beds that we had originally booked months in advance. Managers are no help at all.

It was a great stay this is the 2nd time we have stayed at this location. Breakfast was good, room was clean and comfortable, staff was friendly and on top of everything, and it is a nice quiet hotel not far at all from anything in Lubbock. Great stay, I plan to continue to stay here when we travel to Lubbock for our kids sports!

The property is nice and very convenient for the Wolfforth area. Our vehicle was egged overnight by a prankster but thankfully with only 1 egg. It was hard to find a manual car wash since they are all drive through now and the egg was dried on and would not come off without soaking and scrubbing. I also was a prankster when a kid - pay backs are hell.
