Staybridge Suites Waco South Woodway, an IHG hotel

VERY interesting. Presented as new, fresh, clean … almost like new construction. Our room (king bed 427) was huge (that’s the good news). But it had issues. The bathroom mirror was broken and held together with what appeared to be masking tape. Also appeared to be like that for a LONG time. So why? No maintenance? Also the faucet in the shower/tub wasn’t sealed to the wall and was obviously loose … again, why? No maintenance? And the toilet seat was so loose I had to tighten it myself disgusting guest job!!! Again, WHY??? I simply don’t get these issues. The mirror has to be replaced!!! The faucet HAS to be sealed!!! The toilet seat, unless Disney is offering it as an E-Ticket ride, HAS to be tightened. For nearly $200/night … are you kidding me??? PPretty disappointed as this is a nice property. Lastly the breakfast. Honestly they kept running out of silver and dinner plates. Did they buy service for 10 and expect it to service all the guests. Constantly running out! Now, there was a young man that seemed to be hustling to keep clean plates and silver available but he was always behind it seemed. They do provide silver in the two rooms we saw … do they need to take some from the rooms to provide enough to the breakfast area. Management issues everywhere!!

Our stay at the property was great. The property was nice. The staff was accommodating and our room was perfect for our family. I would stay here again. We traveled with our kids and they enjoyed the breakfast options and the basketball court.

The only thing that was difficult with this properry has nothing to do with the hotel itself. GPS took us to the backside of the property but there was no access to the hotel from that direction. It took us a few minutes to get it figured out, but ended up being fine. Just want travelers to be aware. The property itself was great! It was clean and there was a cute little basketball area that the kids loved that i could see from our room. The staff was great and the area was safe. Overall, a great stay for our family of 6!

Amazing the kids had so much fun, the staff was as always super helpful and friendly. Rooms were clean comfortable. This is our place to stay when we’re in town.

I honestly cannot say enough good things about our stay. With grandloves in town and not a lot of things to do with that many kiddos, we chose to have a staycation. Between the kind and helpful employees, the pool, the phenomenal basketball court (what a great idea!!!), and the delicious breakfast, I thoroughly am pleased with this hotel. I have not even one complaint.

I was very pleased with the hotel and amenities. It was perfect for all of our family who met and stayed there for the weekend.

We had our HVAC go out and needed a place to stay for our family of four. This location was perfect. Clean. Great staff. Good breakfast. Highly recommend this to anyone coming to Waco.

Beautiful hotel and friendly staff. They were able to accommodate our family gathering in a larger meeting room. We were very pleased with this stay.
